I am deeply concerned about my wife she has an addiction
which is becoming very common amongst women it is called Aldi-itus. Valerie
first showed signs of this addiction when we were in Germany some 30 years ago
when she first entered an ALDI. I noticed a slight trembling when she touched
some of the bargain priced items when we left and returned to the UK this shaking
subsided. The problem reoccurred when we were in Dumfries some 10 years ago
when we saw an ALDI had opened there, the trembling got worse and she insisted
we travelled to Scotland several times a year. Things escalated when an ALDI
was built just 100 yards from our house.

Symptoms:
Having to go to the ALDI every day, getting excited when a
new product is introduced, sweating when touching the ALDI book, shaking when
she sees an ALDI bag, chasing ALDI delivery lorries, anger when people say rival supermarkets are better, collecting ALDI labels
Cure:
It was recommended that we put her on the “Morrison
Treatment” this partially worked. The final thing was that she goes cold turkey
and it was recommended I do the shopping
Helping her is one thing BUT me shopping Well that is a step
to far, next they will expect me do the washing up and housework, so she will have to put up with her ALDI-ITUS
