What is Poverty in GB Socialist Clap Trap

Had this debate on Poverty in GB

Michael Brown Of course poverty will be country and time dependant since the resources commanded by the average individual or family will be different from country to country and from time to time, as will what are considered ordinary living patterns, customs and activities.

Martin William Clarke Michael Brown Poverty is Country and Time dependant is Socialist clap trap so called GB poverty promoted by the Left wing is a political ploy. If I am wrong give me the details of 10 families who are in poverty and let me see there income and expenditure . All political Parties and ideology will generalise but that is not fact

Chris Hanson Well yeah it kinda does, "widely accepted that poverty is time and place dependant" is what that report says. You say that is "socialist claptrap". You ask for proof then say you will not alter your viewpoint, you're embarrassing yourself what with that and moaning about gossip on the gossip board... I cant be bothered to argue with you anymore, have a good day

Martin William Clarke Once again you try and misrepresent me by saying I will not alter my viewpoint as I said I have read all the reports that is why I will not alter my viewpoint BUT if you have physical proof which I doubt you have then I maybe persuades to change my mind. Doreen Aldred has said "On good authority l've been told definition of poverty A household which earns under 60% of the average wage" that is about £308 a week do you honestly call that Poverty. Any way i enjoyed the debate
