In 40 years 50% of Population will be Gay

I recently read an article about a Ludicrous Gay Pride Parade in the USA. After the report I read some of the comments, I found one, which was even more ludicrous, then the Parade itself it was from someone in the USA.

“In about 40 years it is estimated that 1 out of every 2 people are going to be a homosexual so I am thinking that these parades are a good thing and it is going to make a homosexuality a more accepted thing”

Who estimated this? Now considering the Office for National Statistic ONS the most reliable source from the Government say that there is just 1.5% of the UK population is Homosexual and lesbians how will this 1.5% increase to 50% considering those with this abnormal sexual preference do not breed? If this happens would Human Population decrease by 50%? Or will you be able to select your child’s sexual preference in years to come? If this happens could the number of Homosexual and Lesbians drop rather then increase?
