BAN GUNS???

The recent Killings in the USA have brought up the never-ending question in the USA “Ban Guns”. Being English I see no need to own gun I do not go hunting, I do not shoot for sport but we English have a different view, culture and laws on Guns. In the USA it is part of their Constitution “The right To Bear Arms” so the USA and England are as different as Chalk and Cheese.
Yet I cannot understand why they let private individuals own automatic weapons, which purely designed to kill people. It is no good for hunting and to suggest it is for personal self-defence is absurd. It would be impossible to ban Guns in the USA apart from the fact that they would have to change their constitution and there are Millions of Guns circulating in the USA, which would be impossible to collect, BUT maybe they should have stricter controls on who can buy a gun?
Below you will see a couple of Video Clips from a USA Sheriff and a US Politician in it they are saying that it is not Guns but Society, the Sheriff go on to say 40 years ago they never had this problem with mass shootings and Guns have not changed
Both went on to say a lot is about society and the attitude to Death and violence. Our Computer games encourage the killing of people and give points to how many people you kill, you have suicide sites, Films are becoming more violent, Porn and violent Porn is easily available, news clips showing those evil Muslims beheading people plus Christian Values are now portrayed as archaic by the left-wing. All these things have desensitize our society and mainly our youngsters
Lets not be Smug because we live in England the only reason we do not have mass killings is because most do not have the means to do it. When I was in my teens during the 1960’s we rarely heard of knife attacks and we certainly did not here of Acid or violent gang rape like the Muslim rape cases.
I do not know the answers but one thing I do know in my School years we were taught Christian ethics, respect for other people and property, we also were taught to abide by the law of the land. These things seems to have gone in schools, youngsters are taught more about their own rights then the rights of others and nothing about duty.
