Who Pays University education

I was very interested in the Fore ray over Student Loans. In 1970 we had about 15% of Young people going to University now we have nearly 50%. Remember the population has grown since 1970 so here comes the rub how do we pay for it? With this amount of people it is impossible to offer a Free University  Education especially as School leaving age in 1972 rose from 15 to 16 by 2015 it was 18, up to 18 education is free to all children, well say free it is paid for by the Tax payer.

So by definition those going to University would get a better Job in life and higher pay so why should they not pay for this?

As you can see the repayment is graduated on earnings. Those going into Jobs, which are low paid (but most probably serve the public) repay nothing or very little, those who go on to high paid jobs pay more. I think that is fair and remember their loan does not cover all Education expenses for them the Taxpayer still subsidize.

Now there is something to said for the Tax payer paying jobs we need for example if need engineers, Doctors, Nurses etc. We should encourage Students to take up these degree courses at the total expense of the Tax Payer until we fill the vacancies. The Labour idea of offering free places to all students including foreigners is ludicrous because it is not financial possible? Well it is possible but it would be at the expense of something else so what would that be?

Now I was far from happy about the election results and questioned the fact that May even considered an Election. When you offer something for free i.e. Labour Manifesto people will jump at it just look at the Food Bank Fiasco. What annoyed me most is that Young People forgot Corbyns past with his support of the IRA and Hamas by justifying the deaths of British Troops plus innocent men women and children. Maybe it is because I lived through these times and can remember the carnage left by these murderers supported by Corbyn. It was the young who supported him and liked the idea of free tuition fees and never ventured to look into his past but then can you blame them the Teachers, Lecturers all have a Left Wing bias and you are young you believe what your mentors tell you.

What I find fascinating is that Corbyn and his Marxist Party think they can form a government? Lets remind us that the Conservatives not only won the most seats in Parliament but also won the Popular vote one of the best ever. So lets look at the figures

I doubt if the LibDems would go into a Coalition after having their fingers burnt with the last coalition. Sein Fein never send any one to Parliament, the DUP hate the IRA supporter Corbyn. Lets say the odd 6 MP’s support the Traitor Corbyn that would give him 304 no where near enough but in reality it would be 286. Corbyn still maintains he can form a Government? If he cannot add up basic figures how could he have cost all his freebies?

Suddenly, Mr Corbyn seems to have had a Damascene conversion to the merits of tougher policing. Having previously described the ‘shoot-to-kill’ policy as ‘dangerous and counter-productive’, he now seems to be all for it. He also says he would consider new anti-terror laws, which is even more surprising given that he voted against such legislation 56 times when he was a backbencher.
The truth is that Mr Corbyn has made a career out of at best excusing, and at worst supporting, terror groups. He called Hamas and Hezbollah ‘friends’, has taken tea with IRA bombers and laid a wreath at the grave of a Palestinian militant involved in the Munich massacre. The idea that he has had such a radical change of heart overnight is risible.
And, of course, his ex-girlfriend Diane Abbott, who would be Home Secretary in a Corbyn government, is just as bad. She voted against banning al Qaeda in 2000 and, in the Eighties, championed the IRA, once saying: ‘Every defeat of the British state is a victory for us all.

Momentum infiltrate

I am very interested in Politics so follow Facebook, Radio, TV, newspapers etc. Some have their own bias you will get left and right wing newspapers the same can be said of TV like the left wing BBC. Yet what I think is the most vulnerable sections that can be manipulated by the left wing radicals like Momentum is Newspaper comments section. Take the Daily Mail a paper I like because it is pro Conservative now would you expect a lot of support for Labour in the Comment Page? NO yet many pro labour comments are included a very orchestrated attack, what I find ridiculous is that no DM reader would believe these comments let only change their mind. Now the same cannot be said about Talk shows on radio, I am frequent listener to LBC, which on the whole the Presenters are very good with the exception of the Marxist James O’Brian. On this programme you have callers who give their views, for example one guy said that “ I have been a Conservative all my life but like what Corbyn says and will vote Labour” now how can any rank Tory turn to a Marxist party once again a plant, then we had the Nurse who said because of Tory cuts she has to rely on Food banks it was then found out she was a member of Labours Momentum. One she lied about NHS Cuts as The annual spend on the NHS has now reached £2,160 per person, and the figure has continued to rise steadily in terms of the percentage of Britain’s total income

As for Food Bank a Fully qualified nurses start on salaries of £21,692 rising to £28,180 on Band 5 of the NHS Agenda for Change Pay Rates. Salaries in London attract a high-cost area supplement. With experience, in positions such as nurse team leader on Band 6, salaries progress to £26,041 to £34,876. So why is she using Food banks?

So credit to Labour for trying infiltrate these various media outlets but I doubt very much if they change peoples opinion

Leaders Debates are Rubbish

I have never liked the Political debates where several parties have a representatives are allowed on. Because the party in power will always be at a disadvantage as all the others will gang up plus opposition parties can say what they want as they have not been tested. So I think that May not attending these events was right, the BBC debate proved this where the audience was a picked because they were left wing and if you saw this fiasco you would agree with me.
