I had the Grandchildren Saturday so we decided to visit
Hastings, I have been there on many occasions and visited the Fisherman’s
Museum several time but missed an interesting little piece on the Boat where
its said that 18 tons of mackerel and herrings were caught in one night that is 160,000 herrings and mackerel ( who counted them?) Can
you imagine that sort of catch today? Times have certainly changed, one wonders
what did they do with all fish?
It seems there is a cut back in the train service in Hastings which is only suitable for small people,
Val asked for a Fish Salad at £7.50p not a bad price
