SNOTTY  RECEPTIONIST

An  older gentleman had an appointment to see the urologist whoshared  offices with several other doctors. The waiting room was filled with  patients.
As  he approached the receptionist's desk, he noticed that the receptionist was a  large unfriendly woman who looked like a Sumo wrestler. He gave her his  name.

In a  very loud voice, the receptionist said,"YES,  I HAVE YOUR NAME HERE. YOU  WANT TO SEE THE DOCTOR ABOUT IMPOTENCE, RIGHT?"

All  the patients in the waiting room snapped their heads around to look at the  very embarrassed man. He  recovered quickly, and in an equally loud voice replied,

'NO,  I'VE COME TO INQUIRE ABOUT A SEX CHANGE OPERATION,BUT  I DON'T WANT THE SAME DOCTOR THAT DID YOURS.'

The  room erupted in applause.

DON'T  MESS WITH OLD FOLKS !

Grammar Schools

I see the Left Wing Labour Party are up in arms about Grammar Schools they feel this type of education is elitist and for the well off. Strange how they never say the same about a University education? The prefer a one size fits all of the Comprehensive system which in my opinion has failed many youngsters.
Grammar Schools can be considered elitist and as someone who has been a World Gold and Silver medallist in Judo, Sambo and Jiu Jitsu I can claim to be a member of an elite group. Yet I am only elite in those particular disciplines something my parents and I recognised when I was young. Grammar Schools I feel are for those who are very academically minded one may call them an Elite in Academia and there development in life could be the way of academia and maybe eventually taking up a profession.
Now does that make people like me failures because I went to a Secondary Modern School (Westland’s)? NO all it meant many others and I were directed on a different educational path. Let me take my Judo scenario I was a successful Competitors yet other people have become successful Referees and Coaches BUT because the emphasis is on Competitive success it was Top Competitors who were considered the elite an unjust assumption in my opinion
All you hear or read in the Media is about people attending UNI even to the extent that as soon as a child born the parents start talking about WHEN X GOES TO UNI this is perpetuated by various Governments. Yet out of all my School friends only one went to University that low percentage was not unusual in the 1960’s as entrance exams were lot harder with few courses, the rest of us went on to successful careers most in Trades. Now most have retired on a reasonable pension in fact a couple have become Millionaires as for the one who went to University I lost contact with him but I am told he works in the Music industry.
My youngest Granddaughter Poppy has been accepted into the local Grammar and I am very proud of her but I am just as proud of my other Grand Children who have all turned out to be good kids.
My main point if you do not go Grammar or University it is no big deal you can still make something of your life. No matter what your education background is you need to be focused, work hard and do not sponge of society.

Finally the lefties say that it is only the well healed that can have private tuition rubbish my daughter paid for tuition for Poppy and she has gone through a divorce procedure, Myself and Valerie done the same for John and Susan when they were at Westland’s when they struggled with certain subject and I can assure you in 1988 both of us had very little money to spare. Yet if you want those extras you give up something else which not so important

Doctors Pay

The BMA the Doctors Union are now considering Strike action. Yes we all need Doctors but they consider themselves superior to the rest of us. On Radio 4 there was a discussion between a Junior Doctor and the Health Minister Jeremy Hunt, this can be heard on their web site. The Junior Doctor had a good old rant on how bad he Government was and how he only earned £43,000 a year for an average 48-hour week plus his wife who was also a Junior Doctor that’s £86,000 a year. It seem they have a child and it was very difficult seeing it, well there is answer to that, if you do not have time to look after a child do not have one. I wonder how many other families with one child earn that sort of money and work just 48 hours a week? He then went on to say that he might consider leaving the profession.  Yet when the minister eventually got his chance to answer, his idea was totally different. He wanted to do away with the exorbitant fees charged by Doctors and Consultants for working weekends, he seems that the basic pay will rise by 15% to take in account that part of the duties would be to work weekends, he also said that at present the maximum hours a Doctor or Consultant can work in a week is 100 hours, he intends reducing this to 73 hours.
All of us respect good Doctors and I expect most are hardworking but the cost of the NHS is out of control and it needs to be overhauled. I have had to use Private Hospital because the NHS delayed my Replacement Knee operation by 6 months but this came at a cost £10,000. Maybe the time has come to have a look at the NHS paying a proportion of someone’s Private treatment i.e. 50/50, this would release a Bed to the NHS and save them money

Senior NHS doctors claim more than £150,000 overtime for out-of-hours care (which boosts their salary to £300,000)
·       Some NHS consultants given triple pay to work evenings and weekends
·       Hourly rates vary, but can be as high as £372.50
·       The arrangement has been called 'outrageous and totally unacceptable'
·       But NHS trusts say they had to pay out to make up for staff shortages

Failed Ex Husband

Now we hear a lot about how men suffer in a divorce that may be true in some cases but not in all.

I know of women in her forties who has two young children and a Mortgage who has had to pay out Thousands on a divorce because her ex husband has been awkward. This ex husband earn over £35,000 per annum but by some clever accounting claims his profit is only £19,000 and the CSA has accepted this because for some reason if you are on PAYE you pay on your Gross figure but not is you are self employed tradesman. So the CSA the so-called protector of innocent children has said he has to pay just £54 per week for two children. As of yet he has paid nothing for their upkeep. What of the house well he demands that it be sold and he has ½ the equity and has suggested that this women and his children  rent a 1 bedroom flat for herself and the children. Of course the mortgage has to be paid and the women in question has been told to pay half, obviously with young children she can not work full time so she just works 16 hours.
The ex husband who was at fault in the relationship he had an affair, thinks it quite amusing that he has to pay so little and even said you and the family will get very little from me.
It seems he does not realise the duty of a father is to look after his children. Never mind the Women will get by with I expect the help of her family and I expect in years to come he will come to regret the way he has treated his family. The thing is with him contributing so little it would make no difference if anything happened to him because the state would pick up the bill.

Obviously this is just a scenario it could not possibly be anyone I know but makes interesting topic for discussion

Those who have asked my daughter Susan is divorced from Anthony Whitby but financial arrangements are still be decided. She has met a nice young man Brian who Poppy and George treat as a father

Cumberbatch should keep his mouth shut/ UN Human Rights

I do get annoyed at these celebrity  Luvvies who think they have the right to lecture us especially on immigration.

First we had Benedict Cumberbatch telling us we should have more immigrants who does he think he is, he even suggested the Home Secretary should sit down with him and discuss the matter. He is after all only an Actor who is worth millions and come from a very rich family he will not be affected by immigrants taking his job and moving next door. If I want advice on acting I will ask him but apart from that he ought to shut and slide back into his protected life style, which far removed from the ordinary person. Then we have the Stately Homo Elton John who was caught with a spoof (I did say spoof)call from some Russian DJ’s who pretended to be Putin. What was ironic is that he honestly believed Putin would consult a Singer because that is all Elton is, a very rich one at that it has been rumoured he spends £1000 a week on flowers, I wonder how many homeless people could be fed with that amount of money

The latest ones on the immigration band wagon are the Judges yes those are the ones who live in massive mansions who earn in a year what some working people will take lifetime to earn. Will they take on Immigrants?   NO they will just pontificate. Remember these are the people who are lenient on criminals giving them inadequate sentences so the can continue to commit crime. They are so out of touch that when the Beetles were at their height one judge asked “Who are the Beetles”

Let not forget the Useless UN with its second rate greedy officials who blast us read the article . Here is a Moslem telling us about Human rights a religion who subjugates women and who worship a man who had 9 year old wife. Here is a list of those Countries who are on the UN Human Rights Commission

12 November 2013 – The General Assembly today elected 14 countries to serve on the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) for a period of three years beginning on 1 January 2014.
Algeria, China, Cuba, France Maldives, Mexico, Morocco, Namibia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Viet Nam, Russia, and United Kingdom, were elected by secret ballot today at UN Headquarters in New York. The only one there who has a genuine  Human Rights  Policy is the UK .

Outrage as UN says Britain's refugees policy is like 1930s: Senior official claims response has echoes of the way Jews were treated under the Nazis
·       Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein criticised rhetoric being used by politicians in UK
·       The senior UN official cited 1938 Evian Conference claiming politicians turned backs on Jews on grounds it would destabilise their socities
·       He claimed it gave Hitler signal that extermination could be an alternative
·       Al Hussein also blasted David Cameron saying language used by Prime Minister in relation to Calais immigration crisis was deeply regrettable
