European Commission over rules Parliament

The article below once again shows why the EU is a dictatorship and yet again tells us why we should leave. The European Commission a non elected body is once again telling the UK what to do and are overriding the decision of our Parliament. Come on Cameron Referendum now

'We will not back down to Brussels': Iain Duncan Smith will go to court to challenge demand to pay benefits to all EU immigrants
European Commission think British regulations break EU rules
Britain requires people to be formal residents of UK to claim state handouts
If Brussels gets its way, will cost UK hundreds of millions pounds a year
Government source warned: 'Anyone who gets off a plane will be able to start claiming benefits immediately'

Church & T.O.P

Yesterday I wrote about Poppy’s Communion but did not want to include the following because I thought it would detract from her day

Although I am believer I have not been a great one for attending Mass, like most people I attend Marriages, Funerals and Christenings. Yet up to the age of 19 my mother insisted we attend Mass every Sunday, I can remember going to Mass at 6.30pm and my mates waiting outside so we could go to the Flicks. Being a Catholic in the 1950’s and 1960’s was quite unusual at school the Catholics had to go to a separate room when assembly was in progress where we would be taught our Catechisms. If my memory serves me right there was about 10 of us in the whole School of about 500. Staff or students never treated us any differently but you did feel strange when you were marched into the assembly to hear the notices for the day. Most of my mates could not care less but some thought we were members of some secret society. How things have changed in my day the Church congregation consisted of English people with the odd Irishman and odd Pole left over from World War 2. Now completely different they’re many Black faces, brown faces at the Mass plus several Eastern Europeans. You all know my feeling about the massive immigration to the UK and the detrimentally effect it has on the UK but this is maybe not quite true as the Roman Catholic Church in GB has had a massive increase in its congregation, this I believe will begin to bring back some form of Morality and ethical behaviour to the Country. The Church of England is haemorrhaging people from its Churches because of its infatuation of being modern, Gay Marriage Gay Priest etc ; maybe they should take note of the Roman Catholics and some of the Black Church groups who are appearing in the Town. In recent years we have had a big influx of Black Britons from London and they are more then welcome and they have brought with them their Christian faith with them.

Many of the old churches in and around the borough have a sense of History something the local Catholic Church doesn’t have. My oldest Granddaughter Connie was christened in the Church at Milton Regis, which I am told is the third oldest in the country, when we stood near the font you could imagine Knights in armour from centuries ago doing exactly what we were doing bringing a child into the Christian faith a faith that has served this country well.  The mass itself has changed a lot since I was a boy I can remember it still being in Latin thankfully it changed to English and some the parts itself have changed. I can never remember singing hymns plus they have changed the wording of many things like the Apostles Creed and now they say Holy Spirit not Holy Ghost, I am certainly out of date. One thing impressed me was the amount of people taking Communion, plus the amount of young families and young people attending.

I have been somewhat despondent over the years the way the fabric of this country has changed form good Christian values to the selfish self serving values of Secularism but this Communion has given me hope that there is still a future for people like me in this country.

The weekend was quite exciting on the Sunday evening a group of Portuguese met at the Taste of Portugal for a party ,Valerie and myself were also invited. What a meal we had we started with Sardines, then a Portuguese’s bean stew followed by Cod with a cheese crust and then we had the highlight Suckling Pig beautiful that was me done but some still had desert.  It has only been just over a year that I connected with the Portuguese I was first introduced when Carlosh and Kim were running then Old Oak in East Street, they now run the Taste of Portugal near the railway station. I found the Portuguese, Britain’s oldest ally, great people and their food delicious one set of Foreigners who I do not mind being in this country

Poppy's 1st Communion

Poppy’s 1st Communion

Poppy with Mum Susan

Sunday May 26th 2013 saw my 9-year-old granddaughter Poppy takes her first Communion at the Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart Sittingbourne. For those who believe in the Christian faith, this is an important moment in a child’s life. Poppy is the daughter of my youngest Susan

In the Catholic faith the girls dress in all in white, which I know realise, signifies the purity of the sacrament. My oldest daughter Donna took communion in the same manner some 35 years ago and at that time the Nuns said she was being accepted as a bride of Christ, something I was not happy with so my son John and daughter Susan never took the sacrament, something I now regret.

Poppy was expected to recite part of the Mass, which she done extremely well and proved to be a credit to the family. This was a joyous occasion and the party afterwards lasted well into the night

Dr Who a RACIST?

I have read some ridiculous things in my life but this article has to take the biscuit

Discriminate! Discriminate! Doctor Who branded 'thunderingly racist' by academics - because he conquers Daleks rather than slavery... and he even likes cricket!
  • Group of academics have criticised Dr Who's contempt for 'primitive’ people
  • American professor says Dr Who promotes 'a racial and class nostalgia'

Are the Police doing the right job

Although I support the Police I do have doubts about the quality since they have had positive discrimination in favour of women, gays and ethnic minorities plus removing height restriction. I feel the standard has dropped by what only be called social engineering.  Not that I have anything against the above and I would not care if we had 100% women Police Officer on the condition they were the best for the Job with the present selection system you can not say the best person for the job is employed. The Police liked the armed forces plus society in general want to feminise the Male population and masculinise the feminine population.

Any way I digress with the recent shooting of the Soldier by Muslim fanatics the Police can be seen at very dangerous situations and must be commended for that but sometimes they get their priorities wrong for example some weeks ago I reported that a young lad was beaten up by a group of 15 year old, the Police were called but never arrived. They interviewed the victim the following day and they knew the name of the culprits as of yet nothing has happened. Next case a friend of mine had a cousin visit him at his house 5 minutes after she left an irate women knocked his door demanding to know who she was and where she lived as she claimed the women had cracked her wing mirror, he did not give out any information and said he did not see the incident and would pass on the information to his cousin. With in a few hours a Policeman arrived and question my friend at some length and then done a house to house, plus  Police were sent to interview his cousin who lives in another County after this the Police returned again. Now I think you will have to agree this is somewhat an exaggerated response and a ridiculous waste of Police Time, I am told that after all this expense nothing has happened. So why do the failed to respond to a violent assault? They maintain they did not have enough officers on duty, yet can attend a trivial incident like a cracked wing mirror? The only thing I can suggest that the person who complained had considerable amount of influence with the Police? If this is the case I thought that sort of thing died out years ago. Prime example of this is in the TV series Heartbeat when Lord Ashfordly clicked his fingers the Police came running, is this still true today?

Cameron must go and take his same sex marriage with him

That Out of Touch Toff David Cameron has got to go. With him at the helm the Conservatives have little or no chance of winning the next election. To have Labour back in power would be devastating NO Economic Recovery NO Referendum MORE PC MORE Immigrants MORE British Unemployed MORE Scroungers.

Rather then support his own Party members he goes cap in hand to Labour to save his dream of Gay Marriage, what a traitor.

Same sex Marriage is supposed to be about equality, if that is the case why not let Brother and sister marry or Brother and Brother etc. how long will it be when those with other perverted sexually habits will be allowed to married what about Bisexuals will they be allowed to marry and what about having multiple marriages like the Mormons.

One of the arguments against Same Sex Marriage is that Marriage it is fundamentally a Religious institution and Same Sex Marriage will change the whole concept of marriage can I quote the following

Consummation or consummation of a marriage, in many traditions and statutes of civil or religious law, is the first (or first officially credited) act of sexual intercourse between two people, either following their marriage to each other or after a prolonged sexual attraction. Its legal significance arises from theories of marriage as having the purpose of producing legally recognized descendants of the partners, or of providing sanction to their sexual acts together, or both, and amounts to treating a marriage ceremony as falling short of completing the creation of the state of being married. Thus in some Western traditions, a marriage is not considered a binding contract until and unless it has been consummated.
Under section 12 of the English Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, a refusal or inability to consummate a marriage can be grounds for the marriage to be voided.[4]

So this has to be changed because Homosexual Marriage can not produce children and nor can a Lesbian Marriage in fact Lesbians can not perform penetrative sex so their so called Marriage can never be consummated and to suggest that marriage is just about two people loving each other is not true it is much more then that.

So the government came up with a Civil Partnership for those with abnormal sexual habits and why not if two people of the same sex want to live together they should be able to share each other’s money, property, pension etc. Yet once again preferable treatment is given to Homosexuals and Lesbians who represent just 1.5% of the population as a Civil Partnership has no legal requirement or moral one to consummate a Civil Partnership. So why are heterosexuals or come to that family members not allowed this formal and legal right ? Allowing them the same rights if they live together?

So why are Homosexuals and Lesbians being given so many extra rights? yes extra rights? Is there something about David Cameron and his pals we do not know about.

Will I vote Conservative at the next General Election YES only because I have great faith in our local MP Gordon Henderson who is still a Conservative. If I had chance to vote for a Prime Minister the last person I would vote for would be David Cameron I would vote for Nigel Farage who is a far better Conservative.
