Same-sex dance ban plan sparks row

If same-sex dance is allowed in Mixed Sex events which some want enshrined in law surely the next step would be that all same sex events will be illegal. So we would see all Sporting Events for example being mixed sex. Is that the way we should go what is your opinion?
