In the last 2 days I have been plagued by people I do not know making a Skype calls, I have no idea who they are as I never answer them. Nearly all of them women it is obviously a con, one left a message and suggested that I love her and have her children? The wife did not agree to this. I have deleted my Skype account something I very rarely use preferring Facetime and Invomo . Have any of you come across this problem?

DRUGS

Nearly everyday you hear something about drugs, people trying to convince us that Cannabis is harmless, Cocaine and Heroine are common and now we have legal highs and nitro oxide is the latest craze. I was in my teens in the 1960's and apart from what historians say, I only knew of one person who took drugs and I never found that out till I was in my thirties, I was never offered any drugs yet within 30 years so called recreational drugs would be common place, with some radio presenter and leading personalties bragging about how they used them. My question is WHY use them? I have enjoyed myself on a limited amount of alcohol (No not getting plastered) and on most occasion with out any artificial stimulation, so I can not understand the weakness of others who succumb to drugs

For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt?              We find ourselves at a loss when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt!'      Well, thanks to genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an intellectual way.      Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt.      Awe Schitt was married to O. Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, and owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack.      In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt,  Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt.     Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout.     After  being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. Where are the Cherry Orchards

On the radio this morning there was a report that Cherry Blossom would last longer this is because of the Warm days and Cold nights. So I thought I would try out my new camera and get some shots of Cherry Orchards and yet I could not find one, most of the Orchards  have been grubbed. Some have been replaced with dwarf trees or put over to Rape seed.

The new road that take you across Milton Creek is a quick and easy way to Sheppey but it is also quite a picturess route. Most people in the town know when the tide is out in the Summer and you get the smell of the creek bottom, people will sniff the air and say "Creeks Up" even though it is actually down. Until you see the Creek at Full tide you do not realise how wide it is and you can easily understand how barges would sail up to bring materials to the town in By gone days. It is reported that the last Viking raid took place up Milton Creek, as I photographed I imagined the seen from the film 13th Warrior where the Vikings sailed up the river and people ran in fear, the same fear the people of Milton must have felt centuries ago

I am in my Caravan again this weekend at Whitstable, very nice site called Sea View. On the site there is a Club House which offers Weekend entertainment this weekend was a group call Lettuce Heads which proved very good. They reminded me a lot of the Heavy Rock Band Shaven Haven, some 10-15 years ago I used to have a Bar at the Swale Martial Arts Club and we used to have live bands every Friday night. Shaven Haven used to produce so much energy and this Lettuce Heads were the same.

Why tell you this? Well this weekend a Restaurant posted a notice they did not want any screaming kids, this caused uproar WHY? What is it with modern mothers who seem to think they do not need to control their unruly kids? The same happened at the Club House in Sea View obviously these sites are very much for young families, so you expect children to be running around BUT all night? Even at 11pm there are young children on the dance floor and I mean small children, why do these parents not consider other people. I am 65 and when I had young children we never considered taking them to a Restaurant, partly because we could not afford it and it was not the done thing

This seems to have caused quite a Political stir, most people agreed with Maggie when she offered the ordinary working man there council house. Of course the Champagne Socialist and Union bosses all opposed this, how dare the working classes strive to become property owners this seemed to be their attitude. The truth was keeping them as Council house tenants kept them as Labour voters but allowing them to be property owners suddenly made the working man realise they were no longer subservient. Interestingly enough at this time working people were earning decent money. So now with right to buy back again in force we get all the lefties coming out against including those Labour MP's and SNP MSP's who took advantage of the system to buy Council Houses.

When Maggie was in power her ideal was to put power back to the ordinary person, housing was one of them. Her idea of the Housing Association was that the tenants run their own housing stock, sadly like a lot of good ideas the Left wing Bureaucrats so took over with tenants on Housing Committees being just a token few.

What I can not understand those against the scheme always suggest that the housing stock would diminish HOW?

Example:

Mr & Mrs Jones rent the house they are in they the buy the house and live there. Mr & Mrs Jones still live in the house

Yes but one more house is taken away from social housing? Yes quite true but by selling them the house equity is released to build another house

I lived on a very nice Council House estate in Sittingbourne when I was a youngest , the 3 bedroomed house was built in about 1953 for the cost of £5000 it is now worth £170,000 even if Mr & Mrs Jone get a discount of £60,000 that still leaves a substantial profit to build another house therefore increasing the countries housing stock. Plus what has happened to all the rent that was earned from the house that must be nearly £100,000 over a 60 year period. Maybe if the money was not spent on administration there would be money to build even more houses, these Housing Association CEO get paid more then the Prime Minister and it alright for them to own there Million pound homes but not their tenants.

So Right to Buy is not only good for the tenant it is good for the country.

With regard to Private Landlords the Leftwing always portrays them as some sort of evil force yet if it was not for them there would be a lot more homeless. It was the inefficiency of Council and Housing Associations who could not supply housing that led to them even being in existence

Of course there will be bad landlords but they are out weighed by bad tenants as for exorbitant rent I do not know. As someone who has several one bedroom flats and a few bedsits my rents are fair how do I know this? Simple several of my tenants are on Housing Benefit and Swale Borough Council only allocate a certain rent allowance per property and I am with in them boundaries none of my Tenants, who get 100% housing benefit, do not have to pay any top up, plus I charge those Tenants working the same rent and I expect there are many more landlords like me.

We Are All Flying on the Germanwings Plane ... Will we Just wait in the ‘Crash Position’ ?? The Captain was locked out of the cockpit. 
That phrase finally revealed the full horror of the crash of Germanwings flight 9525.  Co-pilot Andreas Lubitz waited for the pilot to leave the cockpit, then locked the door to prevent his re-entry. After which Lubitz, for reasons unknown and perhaps unknowable, deliberately steered the jet into a harrowing 8-minute plunge ending in an explosive 434 mph impact with a rocky mountainside. 150 men, women and children met an immediate, unthinkably violent death.

Lubitz, in his single-minded madness, couldn't be stopped because anyone who could change the jet's disastrous course was locked out. 

It's hard to imagine the growing feelings of fear and helplessness that
the passengers felt as the unforgiving landscape rushed up to meet them.

Hard ... but not impossible.

Because America is in trouble. We feel the descent in the pits of our
stomachs.  We hear the shake and rattle of structures stressed beyond their limits. We don't know where we're going anymore, but do know it isn't good. And above all, we feel helpless because Barack Obama has locked us out.
He locked the American people out of his decision to seize the national healthcare system. Locked us out when we wanted to know why the IRS was attacking conservatives.  He locked us out of having a say in his decision to tear up our immigration laws, and to give over a trillion dollars in benefits to those who broke those laws.

Obama locked out those who advised against premature troop withdrawals. Locked out the intelligence agencies who issued warnings about the growing threat of ISIS.  He locked out anyone who could have interfered with his release of five Taliban terror chiefs in return for one U.S. military deserter.
And, of course, Barack Obama has now locked out Congress, the American people, and our allies as he strikes a secret deal with Iran to determine the timeline (not prevention) of their acquisition of nuclear weapons.

Was Andreas Lubitz depressed, insane, or abysmally evil when he decided to lock that cockpit door and listen to no voices other than those in his head? Did he somehow believe himself to be doing the right thing?

The voice recordings from the doomed aircraft reveal that as the jet began its rapid descent, the passengers were quiet. There was probably some nervous laughter, confusion, a bit of comforting chatter with seatmates, followed by a brief period in which anxiety had not yet metastasized into terror.

It was only near the end of the 8-minute plunge that everyone finally understood what was really happening. Only near the end when they began to scream. 
Like those passengers, a growing number of Americans feel a helpless dread as they come to the inescapable conclusion that our nation's decline is an act of choice rather than of chance. The choice of one man who is in full control of our 8-year plunge.

A man who has locked everyone out.

The question of Non Doms has become an election issue by Labour, when you first listen to them you may well think they have a point. These rich people coming to UK and not paying Tax contributions the same as the rest of us. Yet this is not true all Non Doms have to pay Tax on all there British earnings and do so. So what does Labour want?  they expect Non Doms to pay Tax on their World Wide Income, how is that fair? These Non Doms pay Tax in the various countries they earn money so why should they pay twice?

Non Doms pay over £6 Billion in UK Tax they have many businesses which employ thousands of people, their Tax contribution is 5% of the Countries total tax receipt. It seems that Labour once again are twisting the truth, trying to create a divide between the worker and the boss. Why do Labour not accept that entrepreneur are creators of wealth and we all benefit from this, Government do not create wealth.

What would happen if all these Non Doms leave the UK and flee to say Eire, Job losses for a start. Once again Labour policies hit the working man because of left wing ideology  

Expensive meal and Nobby gets soaked

I have put my caravan at the SeaView Caravan Park Whitstable for the whole of the season. We returned home on Tuesday and came back on Wednesday. Val had decided the grass round the caravan needed cutting, so obviously we needed to buy a lawn mower and strimmer from ALDI. Val made a good job of cutting the lawn so I treated her to a meal at the Whitstable Oyster Fishery Company.

Little did I know it would cost £90.20p for the two of us, I have listed what we had

1 Potted Shrimp £8

1 Whole Lobster £26 Val only eat ½ of this so we brought this back and I finished it

2 Glass House Chardonnay £10

2 Glass House Red £11

1 Dove Sole £27

Service Charge £8.20

Total £90.20

I had no complaints about the food and wine both were very good but it was the cost of the Dover Sole? Is a Dover Sole a very rare fish maybe a Fisherman can explain to me. A local fishmonger told me this time of the year Dover Soul is at its cheapest he sold them for £4.50p and on the internet you can get one delivered for £6.50p. I did resent paying a service charge as far as I am concerned this should be included in the cost of the meal, I normally tip but on this occasion they got what was on the bill.

When my son John was about 13 he had a lot of problems with athletes foot a Homoeopath suggested taking him to Tankerton which is in between Whitstable and Herne bay and get him to paddle in the Sea water. By all accounts the sea water in that area is cleaner and as all other remedies had failed we gave it a try. Yes it did work, John was not happy about going 3 times a week  and paddling in the sea in February.

On one occasion my father Nobby decided to come along, this would be an occasion when the day would go into Clarke History and Clarke Humour.As I said it was February time so the sea was quite rough, John would walk to the sea and I would accompany him on this occasion Nobby said he would walk down with him, I would remain on the sea front. John finished his paddle and returned to the shore, Nobby turned to walk back, stopped to roll a fag Old Holbourn . I noticed a big wave coming to him, did I warn him of course not it would have ruined the surprise. The wave went right over the top of him hilarious, I remember him shaking still rolling his fag saying “what the F**K was that” and started laughing. Us Clarke's have a strange sense of humour, when my father Nobby was very ill in Hospital I went to see him before I flew out to Moscow. He had been in what we thought was a Coma for several days, I tried talking to him but to no avail. It was the beginning of December, so just before I left I said “Can you make up your mind what you are going to do as I need know whether to buy you a Christmas Present” He opened his eyes smiled and said you Bast**d and then closed his eyes. That was his last words to me as he died on December 7^th at least his last thought of me was with a smile

  Martin Clarke I see no point at insulting a person religion by these ridiculous cartoons which I do not find funny at all. Us Christians will look in disdain at the way people like you trying and ridicule our belief and we turn the other cheek, Yet you know Islam is a much more militant religion so why go out out of your way to offend. If you do not believe put a sensible argument forward so you can get a real discussion going. Surely you do not want your children growing up in the world that thinks this sort Character assassination is funny

Easter at Whitstable

Easter at Whitstable

This year at Valerie request we have parked pour Caravan at Sea View for the Season, ideal for my Family to use for weekends and Kids Holidays. I am glad that we did because the infection in my knee just does not want to clear, so my plans for 2015 are all over the place, my 65^th year has not been a very good one.

Trying to park in a Coastal towns over a Bank Holiday ins very difficult but it is made worse when you have Council like Whitstable. The main Car Park near the harbour has half of it closed of for no apparent reason another Car Park by the Bowles Club has a sign saying “ No longer a Public Car” residents tell me they are frightened to move their cars weekends because the space is taken up by visitors. Whitstable is a major attraction in the South East, with the Oyster Festival being one of the highlights of the Kent year and the Harbour and the pleasant Town centre being a draw for many people. So why can not Whitstable Council accommodate more visitors surely the financial gain to the Town must be tremendous. Why do they not have a Park Ride system in place even if it only operates on a weekend, Bank Holiday and Festivals. To top it all the Railways service shut down on Bank Holiday Monday so those like my son who use the train to come to Whitstable were forced to come by Car.

On the Saturday we could not park in Whitelaw or Herne Bay so ended up getting our dose of Sea Food in Folkestone. Bank Holiday Monday we were lucky, we were searching all car parks no joy but on the off chance we tried the little Harbour car and as we pulled in a car was pulling out. Spent a couple hours at the harbour, sea food was delicious. Met John and Becky there, he parked in a side road expect he upset a residence, cold but had a good time. Whitsatble well worth the visit but go mid week
