When the Civil Partnership started to be muted and thought of I thought what a good idea, I know it was instigated by Homosexuals and their friends, but why should two people who have lived together for along time and contributed to each others mode of living not have protection under the law but as usual an excellent idea got high jacked by a small minority. Initially I was led to believe this was not about a person’s sexual preference but putting a wrong right. There were many people who live together for years but do not have a sexual relationship which were not treated fairly under the law for example an Uncle and nephew, aunt and niece, two spinsters, two brothers or just a couple of friends I could go on. My idea of this civil partnership was that the couple would go to a magistrate and sign up for a Civil Partnership very much like a business partnership but no the militant Homosexual lobby had to make it into an alternative to marriage and only for those who were Lesbian and Homosexual a blatant act of discrimination. A good idea ruined.
The latest attack for the Homo Militants is the Church they demand that Lesbians and Homosexuals can get married in Church and it seems that once again with help by the Government they will get their way. The first question I must ask what right has the government to get involved in religion? Can I remind our politician what Jesus said Luke 20:25 And He said to them, "Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." You politicians deal with Man’s Law not God’s Law. It says something about a government that they want to change the way we worship and what we are to believe in. Most of the main religions believe that Homosexual Act is sinful and most preach forgiveness of sins i.e. you can not change what you are but do not practise the physical act. You may not agree with that statement but it is a fact and if you want carry on that life style that is for you decide rightly so and you should not be persecuted for that fact. Yet Homosexuals should also respect the fact that not everyone agree with what they do I would suggest the great majority.
Marriage is about the unification of two people the extension of the family and the procreation of children and if done in a Church it is of very high religious significance for Catholics it is a sacrament. Marriage is not a way to make a political statement by some militant organisation.

I am quite open when it comes to supporting the Conservative Party not because it is necessarily the party that represents my views but because of our voting system you really only have a choice of two parties Labour or Conservative the others are no more the a protest vote. What I can not understand is the recent polls showing the Labour party in with a chance to win the next Election, Here is a party and government that has all but destroyed this country, it lied about referendums,wars, bullying, NHS it squanders our money puts Englishman on the dole but lets immigrants flood in and people still vote for them. I consider anyone WHO votes Labour a traitor to the true people of England ,.

More Sex education

New Sex education
Once again this Government has stepped into what families can do they are in the process of making sex education and relationships compulsory in schools starting at the age of 5 years part of that education is to teach about how Homosexuality and Bisexuals being normal at least religious schools have an opt out of this degusting piece of legislation, I believe all parents should have the right to opt out of discussing sex outside of marriage and deviant sexual acts.
When will these so called experts realise the more you teach kids the more they will try it out. During the 1960’s I was at secondary School in our first year we learnt about reproduction system and that was it on the sex education because of this the experts said we ignorant of sex and children should be taught much more about the sexual act, interestingly enough those same experts were into the latest rages FLOWER POWER, free love, drugs and booze etc could it be if everyone done what they were doing they could justify their debauched behaviour. Can I say when I got married at 20 I knew no one who was pregnant under 16, I knew no one who was living together and I only new one divorced couple and that was in the day when we were ignorant of sex and contraception compare that with today when children are told everything they need to know about sex: Crèches in most schools, 51% of all single mothers living in accommodation paid for by the state something they have not even contributed to, sex becoming just a pastime and physical act.
I am pleased to say I am not the only one who thinks this way , here are two articles from newspapers:

It doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the
selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."


Please pass this on to every one including every vet and their families whom you know. How in the world did a person with this mindset become our leader?

If he thinks he will ever get another vote from an Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard service member or veteran of a military service he ought to think it over.. If you or a family member is or has served their country please pass this to them.

I just don't know about you. I have personally seen you in tight shorts rolling around with other blokes. You seemed to enjoy putting your arms around them and pressing your body on theirs. Most of them just surrendered to you. I was smart enough not to give you the chance to do that to me. Seems you have a lot in common with these guys. What do you say about these actions of yours. I have even seen you in long lines with naked men just standing around.

I am not sure, but I believe you even oiled up your body to roll around in the grass WIth some of these muscular men. My, My what a bloody shame to have to remember you like that.

Just thought you might enjoy the way people can twist the truth. You tell a story a certain way to enough people, enough times and some are going to believe it. What a shame. They want attention and special privileges and positions of power..Blacks have done it and they are following what they did to get what they want. Watch out for the Islams, they are doing it also. They get political power than we suffer for not stopping them when we could. Give way to the underdog. However, that is now the average guy.

A tribute to a Soldier

He was getting old and paunchy
And his hair was falling fast,
And he sat around the Legion,
Telling stories of the past.

Of a war that he once fought in
And the deeds that he had done,
In his exploits with his buddies;
They were heroes, every one.

And 'tho sometimes to his neighbors
His tales became a joke,
All his buddies listened quietly
For they knew where of he spoke.

But we'll hear his tales no longer,
For ol' Bob has passed away,
And the world's a little poorer
For a Soldier died today.

He won't be mourned by many,
Just his children and his wife.
For he lived an ordinary,
Very quiet sort of life..

When politicians leave this earth,
Their bodies lie in state,
While thousands note their passing,

Papers tell of their life stories
From the time that they were young
But the passing of a Soldier

It's so easy to forget them,

That our Bobs and Jims and Johnny's,

With their compromise and ploys,
Who won for us the freedom
That our country now enjoys.



Should you find yourself in danger,
With your enemies at hand,
Would you really want some cop-out,
With his ever waffling stand?

Or would you want a Soldier--
His home, his country, his kin,
Just a common Soldier,
Who would fight until the end.

He was just a common Soldier,

For when countries are in conflict,

Uzbeks and Craig Murray

I have just listened to Play on Radio 4 entitled “Murder in Samarkand” it was about Craig Murray who ran the British Embassy in Uzbekistan and the book that was written about him. Those who do not know the story it is about Craig Murray trying to bring to the attention of the Civil Service under a Labour Government that Human rights in Uzbekistan was practically nil. He maintains that information about Bin Laden given by the Uzbeks Government to British and US intelligence was unsafe as it had been obtained by torturing ordinary people not terrorists. The reason the Uzbeks were giving the information the Brits and US wanted to here was quite simply money, both governments were pouring money into Uzbekistan to keep them on side. Now whether this is true or not I do not know but it did make me think.
The row over torture at the moment does make one think, I for one do not believe any of those Human Rights Lawyers who are defending those terrorists arrested by the US and UK, the lawyers have no concept of right or wrong it is purely about getting an extortionate fee from the British Taxpayer. As for the Terrorists or should I say suspected terrorists how can they prove they have been tortured taped conversations, video, photographs, witness statements NO by definition if they had been tortured by the US secret service there would be no evidence, it is there word only and for why money again. They will come out with a huge lump of compensation paid for by the British tax payer which will most probably go back to help fund killing more innocent victims. Yet to take on information from dubious countries who have alter alterative motives does seem somewhat crass to say the least. This whole story seems to circle around the Iraq War, I wonder if we will ever hear the truth and I wonder how those minister who were involved can sleep but I expect they will by counting pounds going into the bank

What do these Homosexuals want?

What is it with Homosexuals over the last 30 years and especially under this government they have achieved powers and acceptance by the political establishment in fact they have more rights then the majority. This minority group accounts for about 4% of the population although they maybe accepted into polite society they still crave from Society the one thing they are not and that is NORMAL. They will try and convince people that it was Homosexual ls that produced the best human beings. They will cite a famous person from the past and say he or she was homosexual without any proof why because it legitimises there cause. One case was after John Wayne died there was a photograph of him tight shorts and a shoulder bag so therefore he must be homosexual Rubbish,
So why have I jumped on my hobby horse it is the fact that now according to the Gospel of Eltam John JESUS CHRIST was Homosexual so now Homosexuals what us to believe that the Son of God was Homosexual and that Christianity was the result of Homosexual plot. I do not know many Homosexuals but I would have thought the great majority want be left alone to get on with their lives, well its about time they stood up against these Loony Militants and their leaders in Stonewall

More on Helen

Helen Archers Mother the dominant Archer has now decided that she knows where Helen is coming from and has decided to give her support and warned her Husband that he must do the same as good parents. What rubbish good parents would be adamant in there disapproval of the whole thing, the husband Tony should turn round and say I want nothing to do with it but this middle class, veggie, liberal women and she knows that when the child is born everyone will gather round to support this selfish women not for Helen's sake but for the child who has no choice in its parents. The child can look to being totally dominated and absorbed by women a very unnaturally life style is this why scientists developed IVF I doubt it

Morals and Helen Archer

I have recently reached 60 so I thought it would be good time to put down what I thought of the last 60 years, the one re-occurring thing was the drop in moral and ethical standards. This I believe was highlighted in an edition of the Archers on Wednesday night where Debbie Archer announces that she is going to have a baby by IVF treatment, now Helen is 30 not married and not in a relationship. She tells her parents that she WANTS a baby and gives no more reason that she WANTS.


The ideal way to bring up a child is with a Mother and Father preferably married (there is sufficient evidence to back this up) but at the very least a Male and Female couple in a stable relationship (Not a Male and Male or Female and Female), so logic dictates that if we want children they should be brought up in the best way possible which is a Mum and Dad. That is in ideal world but sometimes bad things happen a Mum or Dad dies leaving a single parent or the Mum and Dad divorce or split up again leaving a single parent but this group tried to do the norm but have been left in a difficult situation. Next are those who get pregnant by mistake (I find it hard to believe in this day that this still happens) and the father of the child is not around. Then we have the final group who intentionally get pregnant either by a surrogate father or by IVF and have no intentions of having a father involved. This group treat the idea of having children as having a commodity, do they ever stop thinking rather then what they want and think what is best for the child. First the Child will be without a Father, to lose a father must be traumatic but to never have one and to be told in later life that this was intentional must be soul destroying. Having a man involve in child life is very important, plus an extended family i.e. the father relatives helps develop the character of the child. What of work these people make the choice to have a child without a father so why should the tax payer pay for them, so the mother takes on a full time job and employs a nanny, yet a child needs its mother and not just at weekends? So Debbie do not expect a well balanced child or adult when they get older, before any of you write in saying my daughter, son, friend etc has done a really good job accept the fact they are the exceptions not the rule.

When I was 20 I knew of no one who was living together (shacked up or living in sin) I think I only knew a couple of people who were divorced, I knew of no unmarried mothers and only knew of one girl who was pregnant at 16 she married straight away and is still married to the same person now. So was I living in shackled society frightened of my own sexuality or was I living in an era that had a Moral and Ethical Code?

Immigrants Work and Flats

I have great difficulty understanding this Government and the Employers of Foreign Labour, the Government according to newspaper articles have deliberately encouraged these legal and illegal immigrants to take work from our own people, yet for the government it is financially disaster. The foreign work force pays little or no tax because they are on minimum wage plus there is a great deal of black labour (that is not reference to a person skin colour it means working illegally), the indigenous work force they have replaced is forced on to the dole, which cost us the country money plus if they were working they would be on higher wages and thus paying higher tax. As for British employers to me it is only greed that forces them to employ foreign labour they and their shareholders want the highest return they have no compassion for their fellow countryman. Yes I have heard there excuses that customers want the best price if that were the case Councils should not go for the cheapest price they should go for the one who has offered best value and best product. More and more people are beginning to realise that the standard of work by foreign labour is not up to the standard of British Workers, those who purchased foreign built houses will tell you the faults once they have been in for a year, plus any of you who have been to Poland, Russia, Bulgaria etc will tell you the standard of their workmanship. So how do these foreign workers survive easy they share houses, packing in as many as they can this cuts the cost, plus according to the press some live in tents and caravans on the job,

Until the Government (who ever that is) starting to put the interest of its own people first you will never get a harmonised societies on the contrary it will lead to civil unrest and then riots.

As someone who owns flats and rent them I am continually asked why I do not rent to immigrants here is why:

1) They can not read English and can not read the Rental agreement

2) They cannot get a CRB check

3) They are not prepared to get references

4) Experiences from other Landlords make me wary:

a) You rent to one person and they start bringing other people, which causes a great deal of inconvenience to other tenants

b) A friend of mine rented her house to a couple while she was in Hong Kong when she returned they had sublet to Bedroom area and converted the loft into a Bedroom with planning or building regulations, on another occasions they have been no to convert loft space without permission timber from pallets

5) Finally I will always give preference to a British Subject this is my duty to help the local populace first

Chief Executive Swale Borough Council

Dear Sir

I attended the Display of the new plans for the new road going in at Bapchild the exhibition was held at Hempstead house. It was disappointing to see that no Swale Borough Council Official was present only KCC Officials especially as there are 600 houses proposed for the area.

The question I would have asked was “Does the Council have any power when granting planning permission on what builder can be used and who they employ?” As we are in a very bad recession and the great majority of builders being unemployed, can we be assured that employment be given first to local people, followed by British Subjects or will we be inundated by Foreign cheap labour.

Tory Pledge on Travellers

Gordon welcomes renewed Tory pledge on travellers




Local Conservative Parliamentary Candidate, Gordon Henderson, has welcomed a renewed pledge by David Cameron to clamp down on legal loopholes that allow travellers to exploit the planning system.



Proposals announced this week would see scrapped planning rules which compel councils to build sites for travellers on Green Belt land, as would the right of travellers to claim special treatment under the Human Rights Act, which the Tories would replace with a British Bill of Rights.



Bob Neill MP, Tory spokesman for local government and planning, contrasted the difficulties homeowners have in obtaining planning permission to build on rural land with the special treatment given to travellers.



“The British public want to see fair play for all, rather than special treatment being given to some. Labour’s changes have undermined community cohesion by creating a legitimate sense of injustice in the planning system.”



Currently, Government “diversity and equality” planning guidelines call for “positive action” and tell planners to give minority groups like travellers special treatment in the planning process (Hansard, 9th Feb 2009, Col.1700WA). Promoting “diversity and equality” is now a material consideration in the planning process, but the effect on house prices from an illegal traveller camp is not (Hansard, 9th Sept 2009, Col. 2014WA).

Maybe I'm in a minority of one here, but I still don't understand the fuss over Binyam Mohamed.



He has become the poster boy for all those who want to undermine our security services and destroy our special relationship with the United States.

Why did the Government go to such lengths to secure his release from Guantanamo Bay and then charter a private jet to fly him 'home' to Britain?

For the umpteenth time, he's not British. He's not even a British 'resident'.



He is an Ethiopian national who lived here for a few years before choosing to move to Afghanistan, where he is said to have attended an Alky Ada training camp.

At the time of his arrest, he was attempting to board a plane in Pakistan using a forged passport.

Frankly, he is not our responsibility. We owe him nothing. Why would anyone in their right mind want him back?

British intelligence officers are accused of colluding in his alleged torture on the basis of supplying a few pertinent questions to his interrogators about what he got up to while he was living here.

That's their job, for heaven's sake. They would be failing in their duty if they didn't make every attempt to glean information from suspected terrorists who want to do us harm.

No one is actually accusing any British officer of physically torturing him, merely of turning a blind eye. There is a legitimate debate as to whether he was tortured at all, in the true sense of the word.

While at Gitmo, he was shackled and deprived of sleep - practices approved at the time by the White House. He is also said to have suffered severe mental stress over threats that he would be removed from U.S. custody and transferred to a more cruel regime.

OK, so the Americans put the frighteners on him, but if they hadn't cared less whether he lived or died, they wouldn't have had him on suicide watch.

His treatment wasn't pretty, but it has to be put in context of the 3,000 people killed in the worst-ever terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

As to his claims to have suffered genital mutilation while in CIA custody in Morocco, there has never been any firm evidence produced.



Binyam Mohamed maintains he went to Afghanistan not to train with the Taliban, but to confront his addiction to drugs and alcohol.

Most people would have signed up to AA (Alcoholics Anonymous, not Alky Ada) or checked themselves into The Priory. He travelled halfway round the world to one of the most inhospitable, tyrannical countries on Earth.

For a man said to have been in mortal terror of being tortured, he appears to have had no problem moving to a jurisdiction which would have cheerfully beheaded him or stoned him to death for taking a sip of alcohol.

The inconsistencies in his story are glaring, yet he has found a gullible audience for his fairy tales, including a fawning 'interview' on the BBC.

The prime movers behind this case appear to be motivated as much by rampant anti-Americanism as any concern about the Binman's 'yuman rites'.

We never hear such vociferous complaints against Pakistani treatment of terrorist prisoners. Yet intelligence gathered by Pakistan is said to have foiled countless plots in Britain and saved hundreds, perhaps thousands of lives.

How do you think this information is gained - with a cuddle and a nice cuppa tea?

It would be a dereliction of duty for MI5 to disregard this evidence on the grounds that it was obtained under duress.

No doubt I will be accused of condoning torture. I'm not, but it would be na've in the extreme to pretend it doesn't happen.

Binyam Mohamed may have been deprived of sleep, but there are plenty of dedicated men and women in the security services on both sides of the Atlantic who lie awake every night worrying about how they can protect us from terrorist attacks.

Their job is to keep us safe, and if 'yuman rites' isn't top of their 'to do' list then it's hardly surprising.

Leave the politics aside and keep your eyes on the prize. David Miliband may be a hapless Foreign Secretary, hopelessly out of his depth, but he was absolutely right to try to protect the confidentiality of intelligence sharing with the Americans.

Terrorism isn't just about indiscriminate murder, it's also about messing with our minds, unsettling our certainties. Alky Ada is practised in the art of turning our freedoms against us - whether flying civilian planes into buildings or exploiting our laws to pose as victims.

I repeat, I don't condone torture. But using the dubious claims of foreign terror suspects as a stick to beat British intelligence is counterproductive and dangerous.

The 'yuman rites' campaigners are crowing today. Next time a bomb goes off on a crowded Tube train, let's hope we don't discover it could have been prevented by evidence which had to be discarded because it was tainted by torture.

Congratulations to Swale Borough Council Leader

I congratulate Cllr Andrew Bowles leader of the Council for his stand for the Householders of Swale, I refer to your article “Gipsy consultation plan is unbalanced”. The Labour Government have imposed on the people of Swale Traveller sites for 47 Traveller Caravans, it has offered “Work Shops” for Travellers and Councillors but no “Work Shops” for local residents who I might add pay Council Tax and Income Tax something the great majority of travellers do not pay. For the Political Correct Forces have always put the interest of minorities first and not even consider the majority, at long last we have politician in Cllr Andrew Bowles who has stood up for the majority, He has said NO this is unfair and unbalanced the residents (the majority) must have a say. Lets hope this is a sign for the future when we get a new government in May.
Final question If Travellers settle in these Camps and are no longer travelling do they lose their status and come under the laws the rest us have to abide by?

Is UKIP a mistake

Over the last few weeks I have seen UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party) getting some considerable media coverage, most of what UKIP stands for I happen to agree with but it is the way of obtaining their aims I disagree with. The Political system in this country at General Election is first past the post or winner takes all, I was a firm believer in this system as it brings with it strong government but in the last 10 years strong government has turned into an elected dictatorship so have been converted to proportional representation. Yet we have to be pragmatic if you want a change of government you only really have two choices vote Labour or Conservative all the rest no matter how good they seem, are a protest vote or in the case of UKIP it could be the party who will stop a Conservative Candidate becoming an MP and let in a Labour or LIBDEM EU enthusiasts.
Recently the local UKIP Parliamentary candidate wrote me a personal letter saying I was wrong in my thoughts, I was impressed that he taken time out to do that he did not change my mind but I did take time to look at the UKIP prospectus which I found interesting and hopefully a future Conservative Government will take on their ideas. One of the things they want according a report in a Kent newspaper is the banning of the Burka something I would suggest makes common sense but one of their potential Canterbury City Council candidates has resigned because he believes this is a racist move. The interesting thing is that this candidate is Alex Ellis-Rosswell a 16 year old! I thought you could not vote or get elected till you was 18? Although I admire this young man getting involved in politics surely someone should have said you should learn to walk before you can run as he is barely out of short trousers what we need is Politicians with experience of life. The youth of today is being bombarded with propaganda from Europe and organisations like UKIP are trying to correct this imbalance which is a good thing and this is where there strength is, keeping the public informed rather then wasting their money on trying to get into parliament in seats which they have no hope of gaining, maybe they should try Borough and County Council elections that is where they will have a chance

Your article “Force proactive in Gay rights” with a smiling Chief Constable worries me and confirms what I have expected that the Police Force no longer recruit on ability but on Political Correctness. The Police are there to protect society and uphold its laws it is not an organisation which should be orchestrating Social engineering. The recruitment of a Police Office should be on their ability to do the Job irrespective of their sexual orientation, religious beliefs, sex or ethnic background. This Chief Constable should resign if he is deliberately employing Homosexuals in a positive discrimination manner. I recently attended the IJF World Masters event in Suwon , Korea where the new IJF competition rules were used officially for the first time.

At the referees meeting the main point of discussion centered on the interpretations around the hanso kuma ke exception where one player has a “cross guard” grip and other having the ability to attack the legs in this situation.



When we reviewed the 60 examples supplied by the IJF Referees Commission a number were no longer considered hansoku either because there was a cross guard situation or the example was not particularly clear. The numbers of these examples to be excluded are: 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 39, 40, 44, 46, 47, 49, 50, 51 and 53.



In addition we were instructed that when the “cross guard” grip was taken with no immediate attack the player taking the grip was to be penalized with a shido. This is a departure from the existing rule relating to non standard grips where referees allow 5 seconds for the player either to attack or change to a standard grip.



I trust this helps clarify some of the confusion caused by the examples given and I am happy to answer any further queries you may have.

Am I preaching?

On Friday I watch a discussion programme with Matthew Wright on Channel 5 which was very good, one of the discussions was VIDEO CLIP: Who'd wed a man who used to be gay the discussion was obvious but as the discussion moved on, several other things were said 1) What has a person sexuality got to do with anyone else in my opinion nothing 2) Who would want to wed a Homosexual Man no one I would have thought 3) there is no such thing as a normal relationship? This is the one that made me see red as all the presenters seem to agree with this as did the audience. According to the Collins Dictionary NORMAL = usual, regular, common, typical. So therefore I am right in saying that Male/Female sexual relationship is normal a Male/Male or Female/Female sexual relationship is not normal. Bring up children in a Marriage Relationship is normal, outside of Marriage is not normal (This could change if more people remain unmarried and have children) bringing children in a Homosexual relationship is not normal, so why can not these liberal Guardian reading presenter and their guest not admit this.
I believe in Marriage and I believe it is the best way to bring up children as expert opinion proves time and again, so I believe we should aspire to Marriage. That does not mean I do not accept on occasions that single parents do a good job a few do and before you all say want about widows or what of a man or women who has been deserted by their respective partner I realize there are casualties in what I believe and society should help and protect them that what Christian countries do.
The word Partner with regard to a couple living together outside of marriage is used in the same tone as you would introduce your Wife or Husband yet one (marriage) has taken solemn vows most probably in Church or some other religious place and most certainly under the eyes of the law. Partner would mean something if they had signed up to be partners rather then just shack up together.
GAY this used to mean feelings of being "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy"; what right has Homosexuals to take this beautiful word and use for their own Political ends. Why not use the correct word Homosexual
Bullying of Homosexuals: on my Twitter Group I have been asked to follow someone called stonewalluk it seems she is a big noise in Stonewall the Homosexual Pressure Group, it seems that these people believe everyone that believes in what they do are OK and those that don’t are Neanderthals let me put down my thoughts on Homosexuality
1) Is it a normal sexual act NO
2) Should it be banned NO what someone’s does in Private is their business
3) Should Homosexuals be victimised in the work place CERTAINLY NOT if they can do their job their sexuality should not be an issue but they should not get preferential treatment which they now getting
4) Have Homosexuals equal rights NO they have more rights then Heterosexual which is a disgrace, would I be allowed to have a Heterosexual sports Team NO, Would I be able to have a Heterosexual Pressure Group NO yet there are GAY football/Rugby Teams, they have a Gay Olympics, Gay Police group and so. What’s good for the Goose is good for the Gander
5) Is a civil partnership right yes as along as applies to everyone not to those of a particular sexual orientation i.e. Homosexuals? If two men live together for a long period share everything etc if one dies then the other should have some legal rights because of their long term relationship but then so should brothers, sisters or Male and Female couple who have lived together in the same way but do not share any physical contact.
6) Should Homosexual be allowed to Marry Certainly NOT
7) Should Homosexual be allowed to adopt children NO children need to be brought up in a normal environment
So what do you think I am a hate filled Homophobic or am I Homo realist who doesn’t agree with everything but still believes in the Live and Let Live, hopefully I am the latter but then I am 60, married for 40 years have Children and Grandchildren and am a Christian in this day and age that must make me enemy No 1

ANOTHER VILLIAN GETS AWAY

Police Constable Pete Doherty is an officer in the Warwickshire Police force. In August 2006, he was wounded in an area not protected by his stab vest, penetrating his abdominal cavity. This happened when he tried to arrest Mark Connolly, 25, during a robbery on a news agents. In an act of unselfish bravery, PC Doherty pulled the crow bar out of his chest and attempted to chase Connolly before collapsing. Connolly had thrown the 2ft-long spike from the stolen car he was in with such force that it pierced PC Doherty's body, lodging eight inches into his chest.

The officer was left fighting for his life and was only fit enough to return to work with Warwickshire Police eight months after the attack. He suffered a perforated bowel and now needs a colostomy bag.

Connolly got eight years in 2007 for GBH, burglary and aggravated vehicle taking. But he was let out on an unsupervised day release on Friday to launch an appeal against a driving ban for riding in the stolen car. The 24-year-old also leaves Spring Hill open prison, Aylesbury, Bucks, once a week to attend a college course. PC Doherty, who was left disabled, was "devastated" by the news.

Mark Connolly is also due to be released on probation in 2011, at the half-way point of his sentence. He has already enjoyed a number of other day releases from Spring Hill jail near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. A source close to the case said he had also enjoyed a week???s home leave/holiday from the jail.

Someone asked me the other day, 'What was your favourite fast food when you were growing up?'
'We didn't have fast food when I was growing up,' I informed him. All the food was slow.'

'C'mon, seriously. Where did you eat?'
'It was a place called ‘home,'' I explained. !
'Mum cooked every day and when Dad got home from work, we sat down together at the dining room table, and if I didn't like what she put on my plate I was allowed to sit there until I did like it.'

By this time, the kid was laughing so hard I was afraid he was going to suffer serious internal damage, so I didn't tell him the part about how I had to have permission to leave the table.
But here are some other things I would have told him about my childhood if I figured his system could have handled it :

Some parents NEVER owned their own house, Never wore jeans , Never set foot on a golf course, Never holidayed out of the country or had a credit card.

My parents never drove me to school. There was no such thing as a school run, I had a bicycle that weighed probably 50 pounds, and only had one speed, (slow).

I remember we had a television which was really a piece of polished furniture, the screen seemed about 6” square, 12 inch screens were considered big.
It was, of course, black and white, and the station went off the air at 11pm, after playing the national anthem and a poem about God; it came back on the air at about 5 p.m.


I never had a telephone in my room. The only phone was on a party line. Before you could dial, you had to listen and make sure some people you didn't know weren't already using the line.

Nothing was delivered to your home except milk and bread, by what we called a milkman in an electric milk float. These would be considered very green these days and the only electric vehicles on the road.

All newspapers were delivered by boys and all boys delivered newspapers --my brother delivered a newspaper, six days a week. He had to get up at 6AM every morning for about 60p a week.

No such thing as C.V’s, you walked into a company and asked for a job, if they like the look of you you got it, if you misbehaved in the first week you were fired, no comebacks

Kids under 17 did not argue with adults, they were not allowed an opinion, they did exactly as they were told

Misbehave at school and you got the cane, no arguments, you would be caned again.


Film stars kissed with their mouths shut. At least, they did in the movies. There were no movie ratings because all movies were responsibly produced for everyone to enjoy viewing, without profanity or violence or most anything offensive.

If you grew up in a generation before there was fast food, you may want to share some of these memories with your children or grandchildren. Just don't blame me if they bust a gut laughing.

My first burger was a “Wimpey”, however, you had to sit down on a chair, at a table. Then a waitress asked you politely, ”what would you like”. Your food was brought to you on a plate and you were also provided with a “knife and fork”. But the strange thing is……you paid for it after you had eaten it!!!!

Labour to Ban Music License

Gordon Henderson has hit out at Government plans to abolish the long-standing exemption from music licensing rules enjoyed by charities and voluntary groups.

Mr Henderson has warned that the small print of obscure new regulations reveals that churches, village halls, charity shops and sports clubs across Swale will be hit with unexpected new bills if they hold events with recorded music or if they play a radio in the background.

To date, voluntary groups have not had to pay for a so-called “PPL” performance rights licence in order to play recorded music. This exemption reflects the public benefit that such organisations provide, but this is now being abolished by the Government.

The new levy will affect church worship, charity discos, tea dances, youth clubs, dancing groups, sports clubs and even charity shops which have a radio in their staff room, and will come into effect in April 2010 once the new regulations are ratified by Parliament. In an effort to protect local voluntary groups Conservatives will oppose these changes.

The Government admits that the new levies will cost voluntary groups £20 million a year. Some organisations will “cease playing music” because they cannot afford a licence, and it will hit a quarter of a million organisations – 140,000 charities, 6,750 charity shops, 66,440 sports clubs, 4,000 community buildings, 5,000 rural halls and 45,000 religious buildings.

These new levies are on top of bureaucratic rules imposed by the Licensing Act 2003, which requires expensive ‘premises licences’ for village halls to hold regular small-scale social functions, and which has imposed new red tape to play unamplified live music.

Mr Henderson said:
“This is a kick in the teeth for the voluntary sector. Local charities and groups have had a tough time in recent years. They have struggled to cope with endless red tape and the effects of the recession. This will simply increase the pressure on them.

“I sometimes think that the Government won’t be satisfied until it has totally destroyed the fabric of traditional British community life. Having effectively shut down post offices and local pubs across Swale, Labour’s Whitehall bureaucrats now have our village halls, scout huts, charity shops and churches in their sights.

“This is a heartless tax on community groups and we are going to fight it all the way. I make this plea to the Government: Please don’t stop the music.”

This article below is relevant with regard to the planning application of a Caravan opposite the crematorium in Bobbing, The article which said that Residents were up in arms about Gypsy camp was I feel provocative as it suggested some sort of big Gypsy Encampment but after reading the article it refer to a Mobile Home and one caravan. My own personal opinion is if you want these people to conform and stop being a nuisance to society you must allow them some where to live. The problem is not the Gypsy but the Planning authority who refused permission for a permanent residence yet gave permission for a temporary one, this is what makes me angry when the rules are not applied fairly and equally.

Rother District Council should hang their head in shame and voters should ask is this the correct way to spend Council Tax payer’s money? I refer to the Mail on Sunday article:

Paul Osmond made a comment about a gipsy planning application and for that he was arrested at home in front of his wife and young son over an email which council officials deemed ‘offensive’ to gypsies – but which he had not even written. What was the offending word “LIKEY” because it sounds like “PIKEY”. He wrote a letter about a planning appeal made by a Gypsy and, included the phrase: ‘It’s the 'do as you likey' attitude that I am against.’
For those of you who do not what a PIKEY is it is a term which refers to Travelling people from the 19th Century an old sense of Pike “a road on which a toll is collected.
For using the word LIKEY he was arrested by the Police, threatened with handcuffs, imprisoned for 4 hours and had is computers confiscated. Ask yourself the question how much did that all cost?
So what happened to free speech? The Council Official who authorized this arrest should be sacked and I would suggest if anyone on the Council Staff knows the name of this individual they should pass it on to the local newspaper.
As for the Police this only proves yet again the we are living in a POLICE STATE and the POLICE are the weapon of the Political Establishment and can no longer be called the Guardians of Law and Order

The Gypsy has more rights then a House Dweller and this can be seen with there total disregard to planning laws, although a Gypsy may have a strong claim to be classified as ethnically different from other sections of the dominant Anglo-Saxon Community the same rules must apply to them as it does to everyone else.
I know many Gypsies in fact my son’s godfather is a Romany and I respect some of there customs and not all are bad, but what I object to is when some one buys a beat up old caravan and goes on the road they are called travelers and come under the same category as a Gypsy which is insulting to them These HEDGE BUMPERS are nothing but the dregs of society who want a free ride at the expenses of the Tax Payer.

Press Release: Union Negotiations Muslim suicide bombers in Britain are set to begin a three-day strike on Monday in a dispute over the number of virgins they are entitled to in the afterlife.

Emergency talks with Al Qaeda management have so far failed to produce an agreement. The unrest began last Tuesday when Al Qaeda announced that the number of virgins a suicide bomber would receive after his death will be cut by 25% next January from 72 to only 60. The rationale for the cut was the increase in recent years of the number of suicide bombings and a subsequent shortage of virgins in the afterlife. The suicide bombers' union, the British Organization of Occupational Martyrs (or B.O.O.M.) responded with a statement that this was unacceptable to its members and immediately balloted for strike action. Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what 's going on with that? Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target. The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number etc.).
In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you... But I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider, the career path you've chosen to pursue in life. I recently wrote an article which was sent to the Press which we now take for granted will not get printed about the Job situation and how foreigners are getting jobs that should go to Brits, now we find out that Government Departments including Councils, NHS Trusts (many of them in Kent) are employing illegal immigrants, God what has this country come to when tax payers money is used to keep British people out of work and give people who are hear illegally work? One further point if they are here illegally they will not have any social security number and will not be paying National Insurance contributions.


Over the Christmas you are inclined to watch programmes which would not dream of watching any other time one of this was about Quentin Crisp “Englishman in New York” this was a great pieced of TV. This was the second part of life Quentin shown on TV the “Naked Civil Servant” was the first shown over 20 years ago. Quentin was a flamboyant, camp Homosexual he was called himself “Britain’s stately Homo” he never hid what he was and way back in the early 60’s would be beaten up regularly for it, “Queer Bashing” was quite common then. No I have not suddenly turned into a cringing white liberal supporting the course of Homosexuals on then contrary, I still can not understand the need for same sex intercourse, I still find the act a perversion, I totally disagree with Same sex Marriage and most importantly I think it is an absolute disgrace that Homosexuals get preferential treatment in this country. Yet I can understand why people like Quentin Crisp were persecuted for what he was, this man had not hurt anyone even if you do not agree with his life style that is not a reason to stop it. In New York he found acceptance he was of many unusual people and flourish well giving shows until he upset the Pink Mafia because he would not fall in line with their Political Crusade, a Film worth watching.



I also caught the last part of East Enders a programme I despise it is the most depressing programme on the TV but with the wife watching this rubbish I was also forced to watch. For once the story line caught my attention it was again centred around Homosexuals, it seems TV is obsessed with sex especially Homosexual sex. The story line was a predator Homosexual had been chasing a Muslim guy whom he seduced on many occasions, making the latter admit he was Homosexual. Problem being was he was to marry and on the day of the wedding the first male meets the Muslim and tells him not to marry but be true to himself and come out. The Muslim replied it was not just about him it was about his religion, what he would do to his family, his future wife and any children he desperately needed. In these days of selfishness and everyone being encouraged to be self centred this was like a bout of fresh air, here was Young man putting himself after everyone else, realising that the universe is not centred on you as an individual it is about the group as a whole. Not many are like this in what I thought was a very Christian Act and by the looks of it a Muslim one as well.
