Human rights-soldiers-Russell Brand-Jessica Ennis-Xmas Risk assesment

I was listening to a Radio call in programme on LBC last night, the subject was the European Court and Human Rights Act I was quite surprised how many people were in favour of it but was the biggest joke was when they spent an inordinate amount of time with a Human Rights Lawyer who would you believe said the Human Rights Act was a marvellous! YES for his pocket. A Human Rights Lawyer suggesting the court of human rights is wrong is like Turkeys voting for Christmas

Not a fan of Russel Brand but have changed my opinion found him very fair in this interview, do not necessarily agree with Militant Christians but you got to admire their guts for turning up. I wonder why they brought on three homosexuals who look like Dwarfs?
I have doubts when people quote the bible verbatim, I believe in its general message but to think something that most probably was not written down maybe a 60 to 100 or so years after the death of christ and was first written in Greek, then translated most probably into Latin then German then English so in my opinion a lot of meaning would be lost in translation most of Jesus parables were handed down verbally long before they were written. That does not stop me believing in the basic message I just question whether it is literately true?

In a very dangerous place and doing a very dangerous job but with typical English humor  these brave men and women make light of their situation Merry Christmas to all of them and hope they all return home safely

Health & Safety for the Christmas Period

Please be advised that all employees planning to dash through the snow in a one- horse open sleigh, going over the fields and laughing all the way are required to undergo a Risk Assessment addressing the safety of open sleighs. This assessment must also consider whether it is appropriate to use only one horse for such a venture, particularly where there are multiple passengers. Please note that permission must also be obtained in writing from landowners before their fields may be entered. To avoid offending those not participating in celebrations, we request that laughter is moderate only and not loud enough to be considered a noise nuisance.

Benches, stools and orthopaedic chairs are now available for collection by any shepherds planning or required to watch their flocks at night.
While provision has also been made for remote monitoring of flocks by CCTV cameras from a centrally heated shepherd observation hut, all facility users are reminded that an emergency response plan must be submitted to account for known risks to the flocks. The angel of the Lord is additionally reminded that prior to shining his/her glory all around s/he must confirm that all shepherds are wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to account for the harmful effects of UVA, UVB and the overwhelming effects of Glory.

Following last year's well publicised case, everyone is advised that EC legislation prohibits any comment with regard to the redness of any part of Mr.
R. Reindeer. Further to this, exclusion of Mr. R Reindeer from reindeer games will be considered discriminatory and disciplinary action will be taken against those found guilty of this offence.

While it is acknowledged that gift-bearing is commonly practised in various parts of the world, particularly the Orient, everyone is reminded that the bearing of gifts is subject to Hospitality Guidelines and all gifts must be registered. This applies regardless of the individual, even royal personages. It is particularly noted that direct gifts of currency or gold are specifically precluded under provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Further, caution is advised regarding other common gifts, such as aromatic resins that may initiate allergic reactions.

Finally, in the recent case of the infant found tucked up in a manger without any crib for a bed, Social Services have been advised and will be arriving shortly.

Merry Christmas,
Risk Management Team

Fit for a champion: Heptathlon star Jessica Ennis invests some of her Olympic gold in new £1million home for her and her fiance
  • Jessica Ennis' new home in the Peak District has four bedroom and panoramic views
  • Heptathlon hero set to share £1million property with fiance Andy Hill

What was I saying yesterday about the Olympians and I expect she will get an OBE her are some of the best comment from the newspaper

"Perhaps if she had not had 10's of 1000's of pounds of taxpayers money she wouldn't have been able to train those 16hrs a day. They all should have to give some of their new found millions back..

Could she not offer to repay her Lottery Funding back? We ask people to train as Doctors, Scientists, Engineers etc and leave them with a massive loan to pay back. Yet sports get their funding for free. It was that funding that opened doors for her.

take it that just like andy murray the lottery funding for her coaching will continue while she gets rich on endorsements. while funding for those at the bottom is cut yet again.

Very nice and I don't begrudge her the success, but has she now repaid all the free funding we gave her to achieve this? That way we can invest in future athletes as well or are we, the dopey public, expected to do that? I only ask because my wife and I are crucifying ourselves financially to put our son through private school so that he will have a decent opportunity in this dump of a country and so far we have not received a single penny of Lottery funding.
