This is hard for anyone to understand and comprehend....
Many of us have memories of Europe as we remember it 20 + years ago....
Will we understand this same change in the US ?

Thank you very much for inviting me.I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West.
The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe .
Then, I will say a few things about Islam. To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem .
The Europe you know is changing.You have probably seen the landmarks. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it.. This goes for the police as well.
It's the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corners. The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe .
These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe , street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe . With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region.
Clearly, the signal is: we rule.Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam , Marseille and Malmo in Sweden . In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims. (Hard to believe)Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear 'whore, whore'. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin . The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.
(Discrimination on the level of absurdity) (Seen in Saudia Arabia in 1974)In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels , because he was drinking during the Ramadan. Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya , Israel .
I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe . San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that. The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France . One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate. Muslims demand what they call 'respect'.
And this is how we give them respect. We have Muslim official state holidays.The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey .Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus.
I call the perpetrators 'settlers'. Because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam. Therefore, they are settlers.
Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries. Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.
The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages - at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza.
If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means 'submission'. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world', and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran.
The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel . First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance. Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines , Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan , Lebanon , and Aceh in Indonesia . Israel is simply in the way. The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.The war against Israel is not a war against Israel . It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel , Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values. On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed. The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can get Israel , they can get everything.
So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a 'right-wing extremists' or 'racists'. In my country, the Netherlands , 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II.. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat.
Yet there is a danger greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America - as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome , Athens and Jerusalem . Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts.
My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe , American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe 's children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so.
We have to take the necessary action now to stop this Islamic stupidity from destroying the free world that we know.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say about the basics of Islam, complete with video. After the presentations, question time. I directed my question to the Imam and asked: 'Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a Holy War against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?' There was no disagreement with my statement and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!' I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not a follower of Allah, so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?' The expression on his face changed from one of authority to that of 'a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the biscuit tin.' He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' I then stated, 'Well, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope Benedict commanding all Catholics to kill Muslims, or the Archbishop of Canterbury ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!' The Imam was speechless! I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your 'friend' when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because He will take me to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?' You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam remained speechless. Needless to say, the organizers of the Diversification' seminar were not happy with this way of exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs. Within twenty years, i.....e.. 2029, there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.K. To elect a government of their choice, complete with Sharia law Everyone in the U.K. Should be required to read this, but with the current political paralysis, tolerant justice system, liberal media and p.c. Do Not Forget our Soldiers

It’s Remembrance Sunday this weekend so please read the stuff below. These lads are the best we've got, good luck to all of them.

The average British soldier is 19 years old…..he is a short haired, well built lad who, under normal circumstances is considered by society as half man, half boy. Not yet dry behind the ears and just old enough to buy a round of drinks but old enough to die for his country – and for you. He’s not particularly keen on hard work but he’d rather be grafting in Afghanistan than unemployed in the UK . He recently left comprehensive school where he was probably an average student, played some form of sport, drove a ten year old rust bucket, and knew a girl that either broke up with him when he left, or swore to be waiting when he returns home. He moves easily to rock and roll or hip-hop or to the rattle of a 7.62mm machine gun.

He is about a stone lighter than when he left home because he is working or fighting from dawn to dusk and well beyond. He has trouble spelling, so letter writing is a pain for him, but he can strip a rifle in 25 seconds and reassemble it in the dark. He can recite every detail of a machine gun or grenade launcher and use either effectively if he has to. He digs trenches and toilets without the aid of machines and can apply first aid like a professional paramedic. He can march until he is told to stop, or stay dead still until he is told to move.

He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation but he is not without a rebellious spirit or a sense of personal dignity. He is confidently self-sufficient. He has two sets of uniform with him: he washes one and wears the other. He keeps his water bottle full and his feet dry. He sometimes forgets to brush his teeth, but never forgets to clean his rifle. He can cook his own meals, mend his own clothes and fix his own hurts. If you are thirsty, he'll share his water with you; if you are hungry, his food is your food. He'll even share his life-saving ammunition with you in the heat of a firefight if you run low.

He has learned to use his hands like weapons and regards his weapon as an extension of his own hands. He can save your life or he can take it, because that is his job - it's what a soldier does. He often works twice as long and hard as a civilian, draw half the pay and have nowhere to spend it, and can still find black ironic humour in it all. There's an old saying in the British Army: 'If you can't take a joke, you shouldn't have joined!'

He has seen more suffering and death than he should have in his short lifetime. He has wept in public and in private, for friends who have fallen in combat and he is unashamed to show it or admit it. He feels every bugle note of the 'Last Post' or 'Sunset' vibrate through his body while standing rigidly to attention. He's not afraid to 'Bollock' anyone who shows disrespect when the Regimental Colours are on display or the National Anthem is played; yet in an odd twist, he would defend anyone's right to be an individual. Just as with generations of young people before him, he is paying the price for our freedom. Clean shaven and baby faced he may be, but be prepared to defend yourself if you treat him like a kid.

He is the latest in a long thin line of British Fighting Men that have kept this country free for hundreds of years. He asks for nothing from us except our respect, friendship and understanding. We may not like what he does, but sometimes he doesn't like it either - he just has it to do.. Remember him always, for he has earned our respect and admiration with his blood. And now we even have brave young women putting themselves in harm's way, doing their part in this tradition of going to war when our nation's politicians call on us to do so.

When you receive this, please stop for a moment and if you are so inclined, feel free to say a prayer for our troops in the trouble spots of the world.

Swale Celebration

Swale a Celebration of Culture
On Saturday I and my Judo Club were invited to give a demonstration of Judo, Sambo and CombatSombo. I expected we were invited because these two Grappling Disciplines originated from Japan and Russia different Cultures to our own. Yet as I mentioned in my commentary there has been Jacket wrestling in England since the 1400’s and that was Cornish Wrestling also we Cumberland and Westmorland Wrestling (also known as back hang) I once wrote an article suggesting the founder of Judo Jigaro Kano saw Cornish Wrestling when the sailors visited Japan and maybe this was his inspiration for Judo.
This celebration involved lots of Dancing from India, singing from people of African origin both of which I enjoy and I know our Judo kids did because they joined, there many other cultures represented sadly no English Traditions was on display something quite common at these events. I did ask why Morris Dancers were not included, fair do to the organiser who said it was oversight at least she was honest, I am not sure what these Function are supposed to do? Band s parading through the town was great a lot of people have commented what a marvellous display and this helped people value their cultures but the Town Hall I do not believed that worked, although there were a lot of people present it seemed all were involved in some way or other with the show. As I said our own Club Members joined in and enjoyed themselves but it was disappointing to when it was our turn to go on the hall emptied and one guy half way through our demo started tuning his guitar over the speakers I am not sure whether he was rude or just bored but it was off putting. I have run enough Judo, Sambo events to know that no matter how many posters you put out only those connected with what we are doing turn up and sorry to say the same was of this event at the Town.
After saying all that I enjoyed my time there and enjoyed the enthusiasm, congratulation to the organiser for all the hard work they put in, may be next year do it in the high street with a Marquee and stage next to the Nat West and maybe include Irish and Scottish Dancers although we must respect the culture of different nations we must not forget the indigenous (British) people of these Islands who made this country the place to settle. Great day not to happy though if it was paid for out of my Council Taxes.

Stolen Tractor in Poland

I was recently talking to friend who has contacts with members of the farming world and he told me a couple of things
1) It seems that Farmers in the Swale area are having their equipment stolen and when one went on the Internet he found his Tractor being offered on EBay in Poland
2) Sheep rustling is become very popular but not with flocks of sheep but individual ones it seems certain groups of people no longer wish to buy a sheep for their spit bar b q. Brings a new meaning to Pick your Own
3) It also seems that our foreign workforce are not quite the saints they are betrayed out to be especially when it comes to picking fruit which are often bruised with a lot of waste and of course our hard done by farmers are not happy. Well can I say you they only have themselves to blame for employing cheap foreign labour rather then employing honest English labour? Rubbish English people do not want work I hear you say, that is a myth put out by Greedy Employers. Years ago women would do the fruit picking along with proper Gypsies who would stay on the farms for months in their caravans. The one thing the foreman would say pick your fruit carefully and place the fruit in basket or bin, yes it took a bit longer but there was less damaged fruit. Health and Safety stops women bringing their children to work when on a farm, rightly so a farm can be a dangerous place. What used to happen the women would drop the kids of at school and a 9am a Lorry or Bus would collect them and bring them back at 3pm to collect the kids. The women brought in extra money to the family and they could be with their children when they were needed. Not in today’s society in Nu Labour under the likes of Harriet Harman, a women must take on a full time job which doesn’t coincide with the needs of the family if she doesn’t she will be pilloried for not contributing to society.
All those British employers who employ cheap foreign labour do so at the expense of the British workman, this may be OK when there is full employment but we have now Millions unemployed and nearly all British. One final point I am told every one is saying how good Morrison’s are as they have brought a 1000 jobs to the area but why is it that 200 of those jobs have gone to Eastern Europeans imported into the Town?

I know you do not like my political letters but I have to take issue with Ashley Wise in his assumption that Politically Correctness is rare and that there is no Politically Correct Guardian where has he been living in the last few years in outer space, he is like an Ostrich who puts his head the sand when he does not want see anything. Are the BNP Clever

The BNP have very clever in accepting Non White people into their organisation, we are told that they had to do this because our Political Intelligencer have said they are breaking Racial Equality Laws by not allowing Non Whites in. Can I say firstly if the BNP are such a bigoted organisation why would some one who is not white want to join? I always thought that being Democratic is about letting the individual decide what they want with little or no Government interference, I have a group of mates who meet every Christmas Eve since 1966 and we call ourselves the Christmas Eve Club and we wear a silly designed tie and normally get drunk Christmas Eve Dinner after singing carols and exaggerating tales of our youth. The CEC doesn’t have any women members or any ethnic members so are we breaking some DISCRIMINATION Laws?
BNP under the direction of Nick Griffiths are slowly becoming a main stream party and slowly they are hiding their Right Wing attitudes and because all the major political parties and the Left wing hate them they give them the oxygen of publicity, this makes the people of this country stand up say WHY is everyone so frightened of the BNP? If you listened to Nick Griffiths on Sky and read his articles he doesn’t come across as racist His comment was "'There are three different groups of people in this multicultural Britain now,' he said.’ There’s the indigenous Brits, people like you and me; there's settled ethnic minorities populations who are here legally and legitimately and they are civically British and we have no problem with them at all; and then we have the third block, the colonists, people wanting to change our country into something completely different,' Mr Griffin said.
'A large number of the settled ethnic minority population, Sikhs, Hindus and so on, are actually very much in favour of the British National Party's stance about stopping any further immigration.'
Asked if the sorts of British ethnic minorities he believed supported the party were included in the 'indigenous' group the party would stand up for, he said: 'Oh no, no, no, no, no. 'Of course they are not indigenous. We are saying they are civically British, which is a matter of common sense, also that they are patently not of the ancestral stock of this country. 'It doesn't make them bad; it just makes them a little bit different.'
Now what has he said that is racist or offensive NOTHING and this where he is crafty because he makes all those who call him a racist look silly
The BNP at present will never become a main stream party and to vote for them on a National basis is a wasted vote in my eyes, but you could be on the verge of seeing the uprising of a New Party, as soon as the BNP allow Non White people in and the get them voted in on the EC you will see the Racists Hooligans leave in droves and you will see the birth of a New Right Wing Party led by Nick Griffiths

Steve Gately & Stephen Friar

There has been a lot said about this Pop Musician Steven Gately, it seems Stephen Friar got right of his box because some women in the Daily Mail wrote an article suggesting that his life style was the cause of his death I took this to mean Drugs, Booze, Parties etc but the Pink Mafia including Stephen Friar ( I might add some one who I have a lot of respect for and some one who has not used his Homosexuality to promote his career) took it to mean he died because he was Homosexual. They then orchestrated a Twitter rampage to castigate the Femail reporter, not the first time this has been done. The Daily Mail organised a survey a Gypsies getting preferential Hospital Treatment over the rest of us, those of us who live in the real world would have said that is wrong, No not the World of Twitters they feel they are superior to the ordinary person in the street, mind you I expect most have Private health care so it will not affect them Twitterers claim victory over loaded Daily Mail gypsy poll

My main point is that this Stephen Gately may have been a wonderful person and it is a tragedy that a man of his age should die but he was only a Pop Singer! Our soldiers who are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan do not get that amount of coverage and they died for their country. Some commentators have said he was brave to come out as a Homosexual what is brave about that? surely it is a requisite of those in the entertainment business to tell people they are Homosexual, what is Brave is fighting for your Country. I expect at the next X Factor Simon Cowell will ask for a minute silence. Steve Gately death was a tragedy for his family and friends but he was only a Pop Star not a national Hero

Restraurateur Victim or Suspect

I was recently talking to a Sittingbourne Restaurateur , he told me he had a group of people in their late twenties do a runner one Sunday dinner time (leave without paying) during the week he saw two of the women and asked them to pay or explain why they did not pay. They started to make excuses and then ran, he chased them and grabbed one stating that he would get the Police involved at this point the 2 women’s Boyfriends/Husbands arrived and attacked the Restaurateur. He managed to get the better off these cowards and they run away, he reported the incident to the Police and the group was arrested but released because the Restaurateur used unnecessary force, he was considered lucky that they did not press charges. The latest rage in Schools is SHAG BANDS these bands worn around the wrist are an invitation to perform sexual acts depending on what happens to the band this was related to me and others by a 14 year old schoolgirl. The definition of Shag is :1) To have sexual intercourse, 2) A sea bird, A small cormorant, 3) A form of rough pipe tobacco, 4) A thick pile on a carpet. On this particular occasion Shag refers to No 1. So now Sexual Intercourse which at one time was called Making Love normally done between married couples and later between loving couples has now been downgraded to something you do in playtime or in between playing your Nintendo. Do those we look up to for Moral Guidance School Teachers, Church etc do any thing about this NO this school girl has told me and others that is just a fun thing which teachers join in with (this I find hard to believe I hope) but you break a band you have to get pregnant! So much for the New Mantra of Teaching Relationships to our Children, I have for many years said those experts who continually bleat on about teaching more and more sex education and teaching it to even younger children, now they want it taught to 5 year olds, has been proven wrong. The more you teach the more teenage pregnancies increase the more sexual related disease go up and the more broken relationships there are maybe the time has come to look back to the 1950’s with a bit more reverence then disdain and remember the 1960’s as the start of the corruption of our Morals by people who own sexual tastes should be investigated.

Bird Feeder

The Bird Feeder
I bought a bird feeder.. I hung
it on my patio and filled
it lovingly with seed... It was indeed a beautiful bird feeder.
Within a
week we had hundreds of birds
taking advantage of the
Continuous flow of free and
easily accessible food.
But then the birds started
building nests in the boards
of the patio, above the table,
and next to the barbecue..
Then came the bird sh * t. It was
everywhere; on the patio tiles,
the chairs, the table ....
everywhere!
Then some of the birds
turned mean. They would
dive bomb me and try to
peck me even though I had
fed them out of my own
pocket.
And other birds were
boisterous and loud. They
sat on the feeder and
squawked and screamed at
all hours of the day and night
and demanded that I fill it
when it got low on food.
After a while, I couldn't even
sit on my own back porch
anymore. So I took down the
bird feeder and in three days
the birds were gone. I cleaned
up their mess and took down
the many nests they had built
all over the patio.
Soon, the back yard was like
it used to be ... quiet, serene
and no one demanding their
rights to a free meal...
Now let's see ......
Brown & our government give out
free food, subsidised housing,
free medical care, and free
education and allows anyone
born here to be an automatic
citizen.
Then the illegals came by
the millions. Suddenly
our taxes went up to pay for the
free services; small flats
are housing 5 or more families; you
have to wait 6 hours to be seen
by a doctor in an emergency surgery
because it is filled with illegal non tax payers;
your child's year 12 class is
behind other schools because
over half the class doesn't speak
English.
Corn Flakes now come in a
bilingual box; I have to
'press one' to hear my bank
talk to me in English, and
people waving flags other
than 'The Union Jack' are
squawking and screaming
in the streets, demanding
more rights and free liberties.
Its just my opinion but:
maybe, just maybe,
it's time for the government
to take down the damn bird feeder.

CRB plus ID

Next Year we are told that anyone who has dealings with children will have to have a Criminal Records Bureaux Check to see if they are not paedophiles (so a change in English Law Guilty till proven innocent). It seems these draconian measures will extend to people attending a Children’s sports and other event etc, rumours has it that if you working in environment where children are you will need a CRB check i.e. shop keepers, ice cream salesman etc. I think it is disgraceful that we are all considered perverts until we can prove different but I wonder if there is alternative reason for the Governments obsession with CRB? Could it be that that all the information you put on the revised CRB form could form the basis of an ID Card, so we would get ID Cards on the cheap because it is the individual who pays for a CRB Check

Today I received free of charge a Free Magazine supplied by Kent County Council and Swale Borough Council. Do they realise that we are in a deep recession, many English people are out of work, many English people are struggling to pay their mortgages and feed their children. So why are KCC and SBC wasting money on this Magazine which is only propaganda to promote themselves, nearly everything in that Magazine could be featured in the Local Press. I also see KCC TV is still in existence once again at what cost. Maybe a representative of the Council or a Councillor can through your newspaper tell us the cost of this magazine and the justification in printing said rubbish?

So Tony Blair is to become President of the European Union

Those people who believe in the EU tell us that it is a Democratic organisation yet we have a man Tony Blair who is not a MP or MEP, a man who has no mandate from the voters of the EU being appointed not elected as President NOW what understanding of the word Democratic have I missed?

When this new treaty is brought into fruition, the British Government and Parliament become an irrelevance, no more then a debating society. So when the Executive (EU) refuses to listen to the people, they the executive become a Dictatorship with Tony Blair at its head. This will lead to civil unrest firstly done peacefully but when that achieves nothing there will be violent insurrection. Never happen the UK I hear you say, it will not start in the UK but this dictatorship affects other peoples of Europe and they have a history of violent insurrection and it will spread eventually to the UK. People who support the EU in its present form are traitors to their country and to the people of Europe, as for the Politicians the majority are only there to feather their own nest, they care little for the people of EU as long as they get their pot of Gold.

Unmarried Mothers

Dear Editor
I like most of the country are sick to death of this Government and can not wait to see them go, but they did say something at their Party conference and that was having Young Single Mothers put into supervised hostels. For to long these freckles young women have been given housing and all the benefits that go with it, yet they have contributed nothing, it has been suggested that some deliberately get pregnant purely to get a house. These supervise hostel with tutors to teach them not only to be good mothers but can also train them so when their children are old enough they can get employment to repay their debt to society. It will also be a warning to others not to fall into the same trap, yet I can not understand why u 17’s are automatically given flats? If they are living with their parents why don’t they look after them or something really radical why not get the fathers of these babies to pay and if they not earning get his parents to help out. The positive side will also be there will be more houses and flats on the market the downside knowing this government they will all go to immigrants

CYCLISTS A DANGER TO THE PUBLIC

CYCLISTS
For over 15 years I have been complaining about Cyclists riding on the pavement, riding the wrong way up one way street, ignoring traffic lights etc but over the years I have given up telling people to get of the pavement. Why do they ride on the pavement and ignore most of the traffic laws? It seems once somebody mounts a bicycle they become a rebel to the establishment. There main excuse is that the roads are too dangerous and pavements are safer, for whom? Certainly not the pedestrian, I said many years ago people would get injured by these cyclists. There have been reports of fatalities and in the paper last week a 52 year old woman was knocked over by 17 year old cyclists as she came out of a Supermarket she is in a critical condition. This was compounded when a leading Cycle Experts stated that cyclists should never be prosecuted for being involved in accident with a car, as the car driver would always be at fault, can I say what sort of idiot statement is that. I would be more tolerant if the those cyclists had manners, the path outside my house is only wide enough for two people yet we still have cyclists riding at very high speeds although it is mainly school kids and the worst time being finish of school, we still have adults the worst are those kitted out in complete cycle regalia occasionally you will get a cyclist who see there are people walking on the pavement and they will wait till everyone passes or get of an walk. Although they should not be on the pavement at least they are thinking of other people. The Police as per usual do not want to know and more interested in arresting people for using racist or homophobic language, so what can we do? Nothing. Surely the time has come for Cycles to Road taxed, Insured and MOT like they do in other countries especially as the amount of Cycle Lanes being installed is becoming a drain on public finance and before you say that Car Lover Clarke I do own a cycle.
Cycles are, in law, carriages (as a consequence of the Taylor v Goodwin judgment in 1879) and should be on the road not pavement.

I have always been perplexed by the Honours system, to me it supposed to represent an award for some outstanding achievement but when you really evaluate it is not true e.g.
A Private Secretary to a Government Minister seem to always get a knighthood for his services, yet all he has done is worked for the same group for ex amount of years and was paid very well in the process, working on that parameter every Nurse, Doctor, Teacher, Policeman, Fireman should get a Knighthood and they are not paid as much.
Then we get the Odd ball ones the school secretary who has worked at a school for 10 years, a Lollipop man etc if they are worthy of an OBE/MBE if they why not many others.
The Pop Star who spends his life on drink, Drugs etc but because he or she has made a couple of popular records is awarded a gong
Every Athlete from the Olympics who wins a medal gets a gong for winning surely that is what they train for? If it is for the effort they put in for winning, well what about the others who trains as hard but did not get a medal.
You may ask why do I now bring this subject up well a friend of mine has recently suffered a Stroke, which I was told was life threatening, thank God it was not and hopefully he will make a full recovery.
My Friend is Sittingbourne Man Ron Reeves most probably the greatest Powerlifting Coach this Country has had; he was British Team Coach for many years and trained countless World Champions. I first stared training with Ron when I was 21 in 1971, I had ambitions to become a World Class athlete and I did to some degree winning World Masters Judo title, reserve for 1980 Olympics, World Jiu Jitsu silver, 3 World Sombo Silvers, it was Ron who spent time with me developing my explosive strength introducing me to Olympic Lifting and Powerlifting I have some pride in that I won SE England tittles in both disciplines. Ron used have a Gym behind the George Pub, he then had a Hall at our Martial Arts Centre in East Street from there he moved to Periwinkle in Milton. Sadly this Gym closed some years ago Financial unviable, Nobbys Gym has kept Power and Olympic lifting alive but without Ron it is not the same.
Not only had Ron trained countless World Champions but also trained many local people, he brought Regional, National and International Tournament to the Town, he spent over 40 years of his life teaching and investing money into a sport he loved. Ron was 73 this week when he gets better I expect he will go back to his job as a Security Guard, no lavish pension for Ron no matter what he has done.

My Trip to Ireland a Plastic Paddy

Our Holiday in Ireland September 2009
An Irish friend of mine called me a plastic paddy because I like Irish music, I often wondered what he meant by this well since my travels to St Mullen’s in County Callow I think I know what he means. My Grandfather on my father’s side was Irish he died when I was 15 years old, was a rather secretive man. What I know was 6ft 18 stone was a member of the Dublin Brigade (Police) his first wife died, his two son’s from that union he left in Ireland never to see them again. Within a year he married my Grandmother Jessica Parker. The reason why I tell you this is because to me the Irish have always had this air of mysticism, devoutly Catholic but would kill a protestant in the name of religion and the same must be said of the protestants and of course you would have the general conception of red headed women and men playing folk music where ever they go, driving their pony and trap, completely unworldly a peasant friendly people.
Ho w wrong I was! Ireland is a beautiful place its countryside is a joy to be seen not a lot different from parts of England and Scotland but just seems more of it and less people. Ireland is like most European countries having the same type of stores, cars etc, you can see there has been a boom as you see countless new houses being built in the Country and not small ones, most cars are relative new.
Yet there are differences on the plus side the people are very friendly and not as aggressive as people in England, if you enter a pub there’s a smile not a scowl Let me give you an example on the Sunday we went to a local pub where there was live music we got talking to some locals and they bought us drinks all night, there is very little swearing and when you did hear the odd F word it didn’t have the same resonance as England because the Irish brogue is softer. Youngsters are better behaved in Town Centre’s, I did not see any graffiti and the Ladies are slimmer, dressed as attractive females unlike a lot of English girls who are porkers dressed as trollops (not all I might add) plus you do not see a vast cascade of young unmarried mother mothers. There is still a great sense of community something missing in England.
On the downside is the price of goods are exorbitant a bottle of whisky which cost £12 in England would cost £24 (27 Euro) in Ireland, a set Chinese meal for 2 £50 in England £30 everything is very expensive, with VAT at 21% who can wonder at it. Road signs and signs to places of interest are nearly non existence and everyone drives like a racing driver. For some years the European Union was good to Ireland but not now its law are slowly changing Ireland and changing the character of its people and these are not my words they are the words of Irishman, like the English and other European countries they are being led by politicians who no longer consider the wish of the people as sacrosanct but consider them selves first. Where ever you go the EU is seen as self-serving and autocratic, a benevolent Dictatorship but a dictatorship just the same.
I enjoyed our trip to Ireland would I go again NOT at the moment the prices did not offer value for money, in the future YES but I would try to go with someone who knew the area we were staying in .

The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel. First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance. Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia. Israel is simply in the way. The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.The war against Israel is not a war against Israel. It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed. The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can get Israel, they can get everything. So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a 'right-wing extremists' or 'racists'. In my country, the Netherlands, 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat. Yet there is a danger greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe's children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so.

Yes redesign the Conservative Logo to incorporate the Rainbows Colours of the Militant Gay Movement and give them a Concert. Over the last few years I have lost confidence in all politicians, people in authority our justice system, the independence of our press i.e. practically all our established institutions. It seems most of them are corrupt or inefficient or both, they consider the public/voters as units that can be used and abused. So it came as a pleasant shock when I received an email which is circulating at the moment concerning the new Mayor of Doncaster Peter Davies (see full article below)
Mayor Davies has come up with some radical changes:
1) He has taken a £43,000 pay cut
2) He closed the Councils Newspaper for “peddling politics on the rates”
3) He has plans to cut the City Councillors from 63 to 21 saving £800,000
4) He has with drawn Doncaster Local Government Information Unit saving £200,000
5) Got rid of his Chauffer driven car
6) Come out of twinning organisation which he considers just binges at the Council expense
7) He has promised to end council funding for Doncaster’s International Women’s Day, Black History Month and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender History Month.

Here is a man that will make a difference. Someone the people can have faith in we need more like him, people who have not been contaminated by present regimes, ask this question? How many of the above are Swale Borough Council and Kent County Council involved in?

Mr Davies, born and bred in Doncaster, swept to power in the May election with 24,244 votes as a candidate for the English Democrats, a party that wants tight immigration curbs, an English Parliament and a law forcing every public building to fly the flag of St. George. Greedy Employers

I have to laugh when people say that our benefit system is to generous it maybe for a family and bogus invalidity claimants but for a single man it is not One of my tenants has been unemployed for two years and NO he can not get a job I know because I have written countless references for him. He gets his rent and Council tax paid by the council, his food electric, water gas, clothes etc he pays for out of his £65 a week unemployment benefit on occasions I have had to give him food. The real culprits are British Employers who hire foreign labour with excuses they have no one here trained WELL Train them he cannot be that hard to train someone to pick strawberries, stack shelves or drive a Fork Lift. These employers would rather see their own country man starve then lose profit

WHATS THAT STINK

Local Conservative Parliamentary Candidate, Gordon Henderson, has written to the Environment Agency and urged them to review the way in which they regulate the way that waste-paper sludge and sewage sludge is used for agricultural purposes.

Mr Henderson’ s action follows hundreds of complaints about foul and objectionable smells coming from fields in different parts of the constituency, including Bredgar, Iwade and Leysdown.

Mr Henderson said:

‘We are told that using this sludge as fertiliser is a wide-spread practice that is monitored and regulated by the Environment Agency.

‘If this is true, then all I can say is that the Environment Agency is not making a very good job of ensuring that the sludge does not have an impact on the quality of life of those residents and businesses who are affected by its use.

‘The stench from the fields is quite repulsive and although it only lingers for a relatively short time, one day of the obnoxious smell is a day too long.

‘I have written to the Environment Agency and asked them to review the way they regulate the use of sludge. If they are going to allow the continued use of the sludge then the Agency should insist that it is treated in a way that removes the worst of the smell.

‘Meanwhile, I would urge anybody who is affected by these smells to contact the Environment Agency direct to complain. The more people who complain, the more likely we are to see action.’

Who needs even more politicians

Local Tory candidate, Gordon Henderson, has attacked Labour plans for a new tier of regional politicians and a regional levy on council tax.

It had been thought that the Government had abandoned its plans for regional assemblies in the face of widespread opposition. However, a government minister has made clear that the assemblies are back on the political agenda.

Mr Henderson said:

‘The new Minister for Regional Government has made it clear that she intends to champion John Prescott’s lost cause of an elected regional assembly for the South East.

“The Government doesn’t seem to have grasped that we need fewer politicians, not more. The way they keep trying to resurrect these unwanted assemblies is a bit like the awakening of the living dead.

“What we need is a Conservative Government to drive a stake through the heart of regional government and kill it off once and for all!”

Mr Henderson’s comments follow news that:-

· Elected regional assemblies are back on Ministers’ agenda: Rosie Winterton is the new Minister for ‘Regional Economic Coordination’. She worked closely with John Prescott on his plans for regional assemblies. In a recent Ministerial keynote speech on regional government, Ms Winterton said she would not let elected regional government “slip off the agenda”, “I have always been in favour of regional government”, it is “the obvious answer” and “we will come back to it”.

· Labour ignore ‘no’ vote to regional government: Elected regional assemblies had been killed off when the public overwhelmingly rejected regional government in the 2004 North East referendum. Yet the unelected regional assemblies still exist, but have merely changed their brass plaques, and are morphing into an even more convoluted structure of unelected Regional Development Agencies and unelected Regional Leaders Forums. New ‘Integrated Regional Strategies’ are to be imposed over the head of (name of local council).

· New regional politicians to be bankrolled by regional council tax: Under Labour’s blueprint, regional assemblies will need a new tier of regional politicians and regional elections. The elected assemblies will be funded by a regional levy on council tax, like the Greater London Authority. The assemblies would be able to “set a higher precept within the region to fund additional spending”. In London, the regional tier of government now costs £310 a year on Band D bills.

TORTURE

I have to look in amazement when I read the articles in newspapers where the British Government are supposed to be involved in torture through their secret service. I refer of course to Binyam Mohamed while he was being held incommunicado in Pakistan. He maintains he was tortured by the British Secret Service while in Pakistan yet he was held in incommunicado (deprived of Communication) how did he know he was in Pakistan? He was in Pakistan with a false passport associating with members of the Taliban and was arrested and kept Guantánamo Bay for many years where he claims he was tortured by the yanks and deprived of Food, if you see photos of him arriving in the UK he looked in perfect health.
So here we have man who associates with terrorists, lies about his name age and country of origin, who is not even a UK Subject, someone who was refused political asylum, some one who was arrested by the Americans not the British being given Tax payer money to sue the British Government for something he can not prove. Now the Human Rights pariahs have jumped on the bandwagon in comes all those Millionaire Lawyers paid for by the tax payer who will milk the system. Binyam Mohamed should be sent back to Ethiopia where he came from and he should be made to pay back all the money he conned the British Tax payer out of.

Coach accused

Top Martial Arts Coach Accused
A Top British Martial Arts Coach has been accused of “Inappropriate Behaviour” and has been suspended by his governing body and told not to visit his own club, yet this Coach has told me he has not been informed of what the accusation is or who has accused him. The governing body has informed the local Police who are investigating him and they in turn have not told him of the accusation etc, now if the Coach is telling me the truth then this can open a real can of worms.
1) Surely it is the right of every Englishman to be able to face his accuser and their accusation
2) Is a man not innocent till proven guilty
As for us Judo and Sports Coaches if the above is true anyone of us can be accused by some one who has a grudge against us, which could wreck of career, our private life and cause us mental anguish. Child Protection has become paramount in sport and rightly so but it is fast becoming Monster which will extinguish Children Sport altogether. No longer is a Scout Master, Cub Mistress a Junior Judo/Sports Coach looked upon with respect for giving up their time to work and help with children our obsession with Child Protection has made the public look with distain upon this group of well meaning people. WHY DO THEY WANT TO BE WITH CHILDREN? That is the question asked ARE THEY NORMAL is the next one soon no one will want to supervise Children in fact the Ultimate Child Protection is not to let any Adult teach children
Now before you say Martin is over reacting let me give example at what happened at our club several years ago.
One of our Karate Instructors was accused of touching a young teenager inappropriately, the father contacted me and wanted me to deal with the matter which I presume he meant sack the Coach, this I reused to do and told him if was 100% sure of facts he must contact the Police which he subsequently done. I immediately contacted the Coach and told him of the accusation which he denied, I then explained that I would get a meeting of all other Coaches and decide what we would do. All the coaches agreed that the charges brought by the Girl were so outlandish (The assault supposedly took part in front of the whole class yet no one saw the incident) so we decided to allow him to Coach but supervised by one of the other Coaches. His ordeal lasted a Year at the end of 12 months the Police said there was nothing answers for! Was there an apology from the Girl, parent or police NO only a parting word from a Women PC “you got away with it this time?” The Instructor is no longer with us dying in tragic circumstances.
Now if the same happened today we would have no option but to suspend him and after the result of a year’s investigation with the Karate Instructor subsequently being proved innocent
1) He would be considered a pervert
2) The Club would have to close and 50 children would no longer have a club to go to
3) All the clubs coaches would be stigmatises (No smoke without fire) coaches would feel obliged to leave and club would have to close which had been in existence for 50 years. For what maybe something as stupid as the Coaches daughter getting a higher grade

Foreign Workers and the Horn

With reports that unemployment figures could reach 4 million, I thought you and your readers would be interested in a rumour that is floating around the town of Sittingbourne with regard to the new Morrison’s developments. It seems that Morrison does can not get the right type of worker from the local people so they intend importing 200 Polish, Russian and Ukrainian workers from their other branches, the reason for this is that they are already trained. My question is “who trained them? And can not the same people who trained them train local people?”
An acquaintance of mine was working at a very large farm in Canterbury drilling a well; he asked the Manager why there were only foreign workers doing the strawberry picking. The standard answer was “we can not get English people to do the job” yet when was the last time you saw an advert in a local paper advertising “Fruit Pickers wanted”? He then asked if could apply for a job, the answer we only deal with an Agency and yes you have guessed the Agency only employs foreign workers.
Two examples of why British Business are not supporting the English working man, they use foreign cheap scab labour to line their own pockets to make themselves and their share holders richer, pure greed. Surely the purpose of creating a business is not just about making money for yourself but surely to create wealth for the community at large or is this Christian ideal to much for Britain today.

Lastly a little bit of PC madness a friend of mine is a manager of a fork lift company; he had to attend a meeting of a large Supermarket company (not one that is in Sittingbourne) about a complaint made against one of his service engineers. It seems when he written a report on the work he had done he had used the phrase “The horn button was hanging of so I re assembled the horn which is now working” it seems the word “Horn” has sexual connotations its use could lead to a worker being traumatised, it was proposed that “Hooter” should be used NO as this had American Sexual Connotations as Hooter in the US could mean Ladies “Breasts” they have agreed on the word “Audible Instrument” this is perfectly true obviously I can not give the name of Manager as he would be sacked.

Eat Locally

The Government plus many other so called experts tell us that Climate Change is a man made phenomena I not sure I believe them because all I see is a way to collect extra taxes. Yet some of things they suggest to cut down on Climate gases etc is to stop the travelling of produce we can source locally, something I agree with . Let return to eating what is grown in this country and when it is in season for some years I have been using Chiltern Manner farm for my soft fruits, a local farmer being supported by local people, his strawberries, cherries, raspberries etc are superb like many other local growers nothing taste better then fresh fruit from the farm it has been picked and when the season has finished we move on to other fruits like apples, plums and pears. Because I eat these products only when they are in season I am enjoy them even more. Most importantly these fruits did not travel thousands of miles eating fuel, plus I am supporting a local farmer and his workforce.

Answer to Gay JB

My comments in last week EKG about propaganda being used by KCC in promoting Homosexuals received a response which I am pleased with it’s a pity the subscriber cowardly hid behind Address supplied, always destroys ones case when you try to hide. JB accuses me of being Homophobic which means the fear of Homosexuals and since this Nu Labour government came to power I am I am also have a fear of Ethnic minorities. Not a fear of being attacked etc but a justified fear that as a White Heterosexual Male myself, my children and my grand children no longer have equal rights as these groups, for example jobs which have no bearing on sexually or colour of skin I.e. Police, Fire Brigade and many other government departments are be offered to Homosexuals and ethnics only! This is wrong and I do not want hear no mumbo jumbo about jobs should represent society A JOB SHOULD GO TO THE BEST PERSON Capable of doing the job. Interesting enough JB compares homosexually as a religion that is how far Nu Labour has taken GAY rights to the level of a New Religion. I never condoned the persecution of Homosexuals and thought it was right when it was legalised what some one does between the sheets is their business but I will never understand and will agree that the physical act of Homosexuals is no more then a sexual deviancy and should not be seen as normal. The red herring of suggesting that it must be taught in schools because it alternative life style is rubbish the only difference between Heterosexual and Homosexual life style is one wants normal sex Male/Female and the other wants same sex Male/Male etc an alternative life style would be for example someone who wants live the woods and live purely of the land without any assistance. No you militant Homosexuals should be reminded that you are not superior to us and most of your activities are about you trying to justify your sexual behaviour, the few Homosexuals I know do not act camp, do not wear there sexual preference on their arm they just get on with life and in with the rest of society with no problems. I think David Cameron was wrong to apologise to the Gay Mafia about Section 28 "the promotion of Homosexuallity is banned in Schools" The important word is promotion since the section 28 was abolished Gay Milatents are encouraging youngsters to have a Gay Relationship to experience Homosexual acts before they condem it! Cameron goes on to say he will increase Gay rights, I think there are a lot more important issues then Gay Rights plus what about HetroSexuals (Normal people) Rights, Cameron is being fooled by giving Homosexuals extra rights.

Dear Madam

I would like to respond to three letters in this week’s Gazette.

Ashley Wise accuses me of defending “dirty campaigning” without spelling out the nature of that campaign. I can only assume he is referring to the Conservative leaflet which highlighted Derek Wyatt’s monthly £2800 second home expense claim and queried whether he was morally justified in claiming this when he no longer lived in the constituency. That was a valid question for which we make no apology.

Barry Pearson concluded his rather intemperate anti-Tory rant with a request that I set out my policies, rather than criticise our soon to be ex-MP. I will provide a comprehensive list of my views during the General Election campaign, whenever it comes, however, I am happy to give Barry a flavour now!

If elected I will continue to support the campaign by pensioners for a higher basic state pension and free transport on trains (in addition to the current bus pass).

I will campaign for a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty and if the treaty has already been ratified by all the other member states I will campaign for a referendum on Britain’s continued membership of the EU.

I will campaign for controlled immigration and better border controls. I will campaign for a reduction in the amount of political correctness that bedevils our society and for zero tolerance of crime and anti-social behaviour. There is much more to come, but that will do for starters!

Finally, can I assure Keith Nevols that the youth forum held at Sittingbourne Community College was not a “Conservative Party promotion”. The event was organised as part of visit to the constituency by the Shadow Home Secretary, Chris Grayling MP. Chris didn’t want to hear what other politicians thought (he knows their opinion!) he wanted, and got, to hear the views of local youngsters.

It is quite wrong of Mr Nevols to criticise the police and SCC for taking part in the forum. I am sure they would have afforded the same courtesy to either the Labour Home Secretary, or, the Liberal Democrats’ Home Office spokesman had they visited the constituency.

Press Discrimination

I recently tried to advertise my Flats to let in one of the local Kent newspapers and was refused because they considered the piece illegal under Discriminatory laws. The section that offend them was “Suit Mature British Subject” when I contacted them to complain I asked what discriminatory about the ad was the word Mature or was it British Subject? Yes you have guessed right it was British Subject. I tried to explain to this female that I had intentionally used the word SUIT so it would not be considered inflammatory in any way, I then went on say if this was discriminatory then using the word MATURE would discriminate against the IMMATURE, or what about adverts that state NO SMOKERS this discriminates against SMOKERS or no PETS does this discriminate against PET LOVERS or NO DSS I can go on. It seems the latter are OK it that horrible word BRITISH SUBJECT a word that you used said with pride but now is considered something to be ashamed of, well according to this paper.
At the end of the conversation she admitted that the owner had directed her not accept the add as may lead to complaints, so our crusading press are now worried about complaints Good job the daily Telegraph had some balls. I have been on the Internet and checked up about Discrimination Laws and can confirm that there is nothing which can refer to my ad. If the owner had said I do not want the Ad rather the hide behind some fictitious law nothing more can be said

So why all the trouble well in all honesty I only want British Passport Holders no matter what colour or religion because at the front of the building I have a Martial Arts Club where children train so if required I need to get a Criminal Records check on my Tenants, a full CRB check can only be done on British Subjects all others you only check on when they entered the country. It is a well known fact that paedophiles, murders and rapists have been allowed in without any checks. I feel I have a duty of care to the children. Also by law I am expected to give a written contract if the tenant can not read English how can he read it? Finally I am not interested in transient tenants who have no references and are living of the backs of the state. I have on occasions rented to non British Subjects but these have always been people I have got to know through my international martial arts Connections.

Barnyard and Summer

Summer is here time to enjoy the evenings sitting in your garden after a hard days work enjoying a cold drink NO! As you sit down some moron lights a fire with smoke not only driving you in doors but making you shut doors and windows, I hope you read this in Gaze Hill, then comes the Party goers who think it is a good idea to light a massive bonfire at 4 in the morning and have loud music accompanied by shouting hope you read this in East Street.

In the present economic climate you would have thought our local council would do there best to support local business? Not so it seems The Barnyard at Upchurch has installed a Marquee for weddings etc and improved their alfresco eating area, which has been done in a very professional way. It seems they have done this without planning permission and of course ignoring planning regulation is nearly as bad as being a terrorists in this country, so the full might of the Council is being used to destroy this so called blot on the landscape but this will lead to many local people losing their jobs and maybe even the business folding and what of the barn well that can go into disrepair, the fields over grown but that will natural part of the landscape! I do not have the full story only what I read in the paper and of course we need planning laws and maybe the owners of Barnyard should be chastised but surely a compromise could be reached here is a suggestion.
Give planning on the decking and car park that effects no one and cannot be seen from any distance, it does not create any extra noise, this will encourage the Barnyard to make business remember it not only a business but a tourist attraction so benefits Swale as a whole. The owners say they erected this Tent to test the market to see if it worth spending Hundreds of Thousands of pounds on another Barn, well if that is the case why do not the Council say you can leave the Tent up for a further two years to test the water as such then it will come down, the owners can not complain because they have admitted it is not a permanent fixture, the Council have flexed there muscles and appeased the NIMBY’s everyone is happy. The recent disgraceful behaviour of some MP’s plus the KCC Iceland bank debacle should make all politicians and civil servants realise that the public have had enough of being treated a some misguided child who does not understand, remember the old Lefty saying “Power to the People” well hopefully David Cameron will make that come true

KCC Elections

I was on holiday and missed the excitement of the elections I did vote by post. AS a Tory I wanted us to win and I am pleased to that Dan Hannan was once again returned as a MEP, mind you why I bothered voting in the Euro elections is beyond me, as our own MP’s come under scrutiny for fiddling the EU do not have to balance their books and MEP’s like the Kinnocks become Multi Millionaires but my main reason for is writing is for KCC dominated council not to be cocky with their majority because it was not because of the job they have done with KCC in the past it was because people were sick to death of Labour. It has been many years since I considered voting for an other party but because the last Conservative KCC has wasted an exorbitant amount of money on their Web TV project, plus the Iceland fiasco and their promotion no I will go further their proper gander on promoting Homosexuality in schools. I am sick to death of being told that Homosexuals are superior to the rest of us cannot something’s be kept to the bedroom. As luck had it our sitting KCC Councillors were labour and quite a good duo by all accounts, so I could vote for Messer’s Willacombe and Whiting both who I know are good local councillors both new brooms to help sweep clean the old KCC hopefully all the other new Tory Councillors will help in this task

VALMAR TRIP TO KALKAN TURKEY

June 1st – 10th 2009

This was our second trip to Turkey the last was about 16 years ago when I had to attend an IBF Conference, it was in Istanbul which I did not like one bit. So with some trepidation we decided on a holiday on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. Why? One I wanted some sun with blue seas at a reasonable price, holidaying in the Euro Zone was not just expensive but not value for money, all the decent areas had become havens for drunken Brits of all ages with tacky shops etc just look at the comedy programme Benidorm and you will get the idea. So I searched the internet for an apartment, I did not want a Hotel and certainly did not want All Inclusive. I have only had one experience with All Inclusive and that was when Valerie paid for a week in Forte Ventura for our 25th wedding anniversary, we had the same food every day, the drinks were local brew and tasteless, the cliental were mainly unemployed people from Nottingham Council estates, entertainment was mediocre at best with no dress code for the evening, people would turn up straight from the beach stinking of sweat, beer and sand. Highlight of the evening was to get your Bra, knickers or false teeth to the compare, can you imagine that after a whole day of use!!!! Of course Valerie picked a time when the kids should be at school, what a joke we were run live with them and when questioned the answer was “It’s cheaper during School time”

Some say I am snob well so be it I holiday for my benefit not others, any way back to Turkey. After looking through the internet we decided to book a two bedroom apartment with a communal swimming pool, which we found clean spacious, air con and with good views, the swimming pool was not over crowded downside was the mosquito’s at night you will need plenty jungle cream, one invasion of ants and having to climb 77 steps but the pluses out weighed the minus. Kalkan itself was quite a nice small town with plenty of restaurants, small shops etc mind you like most tourists places you had to put up with touting from nearly everyone with the well oiled saying “Hello you remember me I remember you come and eat” Restaurants were clean, toilets very clean, waiters were very friendly have not made up my mind whether this is genuine or just a sales pitch. The food itself was OK but nothing special an the prices only a little cheaper then the UK for example 2 starters, 2 main meals consisting of grilled meat rice and salad plus 4 beers £45 some bars were offering small beer for 75p. A trip on a boat is a must, diving of a boat in the Med is great fun, but it is not for kids it lasts about 7 hours and you have a free meal which was home made and the best meal I had in Turkey but beware do not think the drinks are free you were continually asked if you would like a drink in a really nonchalant way, when you dock you are presented with the bill £30 in my case. It always the case the last couple of days of your holiday you find a nice little restaurant on your door step which was cheap and a good standard of food and drink, this was the case with Café Vita Kalamar Yolu. Two starters, two main courses, two Vodka Lemonade, two very large glasses red wine £27. There were lots of man made beaches and beach clubs and a beautiful beach where turtles come up at night, everywhere the water is crystal clear and warm.

I rather interesting custom has developed amongst Brits of a certain age is to dress in white on the last day to show of the tan, they only needed them to wear hoods and you would think the Klu Klux Klan has arrived, mind you I suppose I am jealous because it is asking for an accident if I wear light trousers

This was one of the best Holidays in the Sun I have had and came up to my expectations, I can recommend Kalkan Turkey to anyone in fact I have booked a 14 people villa for next year to celebrate my 60th and my 40th wedding anniversary ideal for a family holiday.
